(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners Ms. Lu Yinghua, Ms. Zhang Dexiang and Ms. Dong Lingui were beaten by guard Qu Jialiang when he was drunk on the night of January 26, 2013, in Heilongjiang Women's Prison.
Ms. Lu Yinghua, 50, lives in Hegang City, Heilongjiang Province. She heard about Falun Gong when incarcerated in a prison and became a steadfast practitioner.
Because she practices Falun Gong, she was not released and has now been imprisoned for more than 10 years. She was tortured by guards of prison district No. 2 (former district No. 8), with Riot Brigade captain Xiao Lin cheering on.
Riot Brigade captain Li Han and guard Qu Jialiang, both in their 20s, were very drunk when they arrived in district No. 2 at 8:20 p.m. on January 6, 2013.
Li Han said, “This is district No. 2. Today I'll let you be in charge of this side.” Qu Jialiang responded, “I'll ask them to repeat roll call.” Then he started from team No. 9 on the west side.
Ms. Lu was in bed, as she had a headache and high blood pressure, and thus did not answer the roll call. Qu Jialiang was told that Ms. Lu didn't respond because she had high blood pressure. Qu ordered her to obey orders.
Qu made her stand near the heater, because that area is not visible to the monitors. Ms. Lu could not stand, so she squatted and leaned against the heater. When Qu slapped her in the face, she told him not to hit her, but he kept it up. She shouted, “Falun Gong is good!” Li Han checked on him and said that he was good at dealing with Falun Gong.
The two inmates were worried that Ms. Lu might die, so they quickly stepped forward to protect her. Qu Jialiang then kicked Ms. Lu with his military boots.
Wang Yonghui, the guard on duty, was watching and laughing in the hallway, and told the prisoners in team No. 9 to close the door. Twelve prisoners in team No. 13 that were opposite team No. 9, were very angry about what Qu was doing, but the guard on duty did not stop him. Several prisoners shouted, “Open the door!” Qu did not stop until Ms. Lu fainted.
Qu then went to team No. 11, told practitioner Ms. Zhang Dexiang to stand next to the heater, and slapped her. Ms. Zhang shouted, “Falun Gong is good!” Qu kept hitting her and began to swear. One of the criminal inmates fainted, so Qu left.
Qu went to team No. 15 and told practitioner Ms. Dong Lingui, 68, to stand next to the heater and started to slap her. Ms. Dong grabbed his hand and said, “Don't hit me.” Prisoner Shang Lihua was frightened and fainted. Other inmates quickly attended to her. Qu hastily walked away.
Qu Jialiang tortured Ms. Lu for 20 minutes, slapped her over 30 times and kicked her countless times. Qu slapped Ms. Zhang more than 10 times and only stopped because the inmate fainted. Then, he started to hit Ms. Dong, who is almost 70.
Qu Jialiang's behavior outraged all the inmates in the eight teams. They demanded that prison authorities investigate.
Neither production warden Nie, warden Bai Yingxian nor "transformation" warden Shi Genghui resolved the issue. Instead, they threatened to punish those that dared to speak up.
