(Minghui.org) Practitioners Jin Hua, Gao Liang, Wang Jinzhen, and Mi Wei from the Taian District in Shandong Province were arrested for distributing Falun Dafa informational materials in a market. The local police have demanded 4,000 yuan for the release of each practitioner.
The police first held and interrogated the practitioners in the Town Office for four days. After failing to get any information, they transferred them to a makeshift prison, where they have held them for seven months and interrogated them frequently.
The makeshift prison is in a 100-square-meter lot guarded by German shepherds. Cars, motorcycles, and bicycles are stored there. The practitioners are in a large three-walled structure with the fourth wall a barred gate. Each person gets only a bun for each meal and has to drink well water.
When asked by their families where the practitioners were, the officers would not tell them and only said, “They won't die.” They are making the families pay 20 yuan a day for each practitioner's "living expenses." The practitioners have now been held for seven months.
