(Minghui.org) I began to practice Falun Dafa in 1997. Here is a personal account of my miraculous experience.
I was on my way home on my electric bike, when I was struck by a car from behind. The driver of the car that hit me was drunk and driving too fast. I was thrown 40 to 50 meters. I was unconscious and lying on the ground. My bike was totaled, and the drunk driver and his car were in a ditch by the road.
A kind person, seeing the accident, called for an ambulance and I was taken to a local hospital. A doctor examined me, and then told my family I was not going to survive. He said my injuries were much too extensive. Since I was still breathing, my family would not give up on me. They then said that if he did not want to take care of my injuries they would transport me to the municipal hospital. The doctor did not think I would make it alive to another hospital, and even if I did, I would end up in a vegetative state for the rest of my life.
My family took me to the municipal hospital. The doctor examined me and then refused to admit me, as he was not willing to treat my injuries either. My family was very worried, and they were not sure how I could survive being transferred yet again, to another hospital. They asked Teacher for me to be able to stay at that hospital. Then they asked the doctor again if he would admit me, and he agreed. However, he also added that he would not be responsible for the consequences.
Miraculous Recovery
I was in surgery for five hours. My pelvic was fractured, two ribs were broken, my right leg was fractured, and I had an inch long cut on the right side of my head. I had subarachnoid hemorrhaging in my head. They could not operate on my head, so they were trying medication to stop the bleeding. My spleen was completely removed in surgery. Skin on the front side of my body was scraped off, but my face was intact.
Twenty-four hours later I regained some consciousness. I was muddle-headed and had lost my memory. After a week went by, I woke up and my memory returned to me.
When I woke up, I didn't feel any pain. I was comfortable and clear-headed. For someone who endured such serious injuries, I should have been in incredible pain, but I had none.
My family asked me if I knew where I was. I replied that I did not, but I knew I was not home. Then my husband explained that I had been in a terrible car accident. I couldn't remember anything about the accident. My only thought was that I was a Dafa practitioner, I had Teacher's protection, so I would be fine.
The Power of Dafa
After a few days I was discharged from the hospital. The doctors and nurses were very surprised. Seeing me regain consciousness after such a serious accident they felt it was truly a miracle!
After I was settled in at home, my thoughts once again were that I was a practitioner and I have Teacher and the Fa. I needed to get up out of bed and start walking. Of course, I had been in bed for a while, so on my first try, I fell down. I continued to attempt walking, using the wall as support. My legs were weak and my attempts left me sweating. My husband got a crutch for me, but I told him I did not need it. I would walk on my own, as I am a Dafa practitioner. He was upset with me, and walked out of the house.
After I was able to stand for a while, I started to do the exercises, a little at a time. I had to lie down and rest frequently. In just a few days, I could finish all five sets of exercises. I also spent a lot of time in Fa-study, reading Teacher's new articles, and looking inward, trying to identify any attachments.
Back to Normal in Only Two Months
Two months later, I was back to normal, and went to work in the field. The doctor had told me I would not even be able to get out of bed for at least three months. But, here I was, my health regained after only two months.
Later, when I returned to the hospital for a check-up, the results were proof to all that I was well. The doctor testing me was extremely surprised. He didn't even think I should be alive. And, here I was healed within two months. He said: “Falun Gong is so powerful!”
Now that I was completely healed and back to work in the field, the villagers were all surprised. They said: “You were hit so hard, I thought you would have been lying in bed for months, maybe even paralyzed for the rest of your life. Now we see you are fine, as healthy as you were before the accident.” When people witnessed this, they became convinced it was a Dafa miracle.
The miraculous thing was after the accident, as I experienced no pain. I understand that it was Teacher who has been enduring for me, helping me pay a big debt, and saving my life. I truly appreciate Teacher's benevolence. I don't know enough words to express my gratitude towards Teacher's saving grace.
