(Minghui.org) I'm one of tens of millions of Falun Gong practitioners in China. Although our cultivation environment is not what it was before 1999, practitioners have never stopped cultivating themselves according to the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.
A few days ago, my husband, who is not a practitioner, came home from work and told me an interesting story. The New Year was coming, so the supplier gave him money again. He hadn't accepted any such gifts in the past, but this time the money had already been given to him.
My husband handed the money to his superior, telling him it was from the supplier. His superior said, “Since it was given to you, you can spend it any way you like.” My husband said, “In that case, let's use it as our department funds." He handed in the money the next day and told his colleagues that the money was from the supplier to be used for employees' benefits.
This would be a very typical thing for a practitioner to do, but this was what a non-practitioner did.
The other day we had visitors. My husband told them, “Falun Gong is good. Look at them (referring to the senior members of our family who practice Falun Gong), they are so healthy. I will also practice Falun Gong after I retire." He's the only one in our family who doesn't practice.
Six months ago, a relative's daughter came to stay with us and look for work in our city. Although she's not quite 20, she was seriously shortsighted. She started to read Zhuan Falun a few days after she arrived. She easily found a good job within a week. Three months later, she was promoted.
When she went to have her eyesight tested six months later, they asked her if she was feeling uncomfortable with her glasses. They told her that her sight had improved in both eyes by a big margin. It surprised everyone.
She has now returned to her hometown for the Chinese New Year. The day before she left, one senior member in our family told her that Master was already taking care of her. That made her very happy. She said that, as soon as she came back after the New Year, she would start learning the exercises.
Now it's the New Year again. I can't find the words to express my deep gratitude for Master's boundless compassion and grace, so I decided to share a few little experiences we've had.
I would like to tell Master: Please don't worry about us. For Dafa disciples, the storms and hardships of the past 15 years are no more than wind and rain that only wet our clothes. Master's grace is everywhere in China, and the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance have been deeply rooted in people's hearts and will be passed on from generation to generation!
