(Minghui.org) I once visited a small town in northern China. Practitioners there had truly clarified the truth to every household. Falun Dafa posters were everywhere. On the streets and inside residential buildings, wherever there was space, there were posters that said “Falun Dafa is good” and “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.”
Each character was neatly written, not one of them smudged even slightly. This reflects the cultivation state of the local practitioners as one body. They wouldn't have been able to write those characters so neatly if their hearts were not calm and steadfast.
I didn't think about it with righteous thoughts at the time and was actually feeling envious and admired the local practitioners. Looking back now, I can see that I didn't have complete faith in the Fa principles Master taught us. Having faith in Master and the Fa is the most fundamental issue for a Dafa cultivator.
Master said,
“The old forces don't dare to oppose our clarifying the truth or saving sentient beings. What's key is to not let them take advantage of the gaps in your state of mind when you do things.” (“Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Boston”)
Master also said,
“If you are a true practitioner, our Falun will safeguard you. I am rooted in the universe. If anyone can harm you, he or she would be able to harm me. Put simply, that person would be able to harm this universe.” (Lecture One in Zhuan Falun)
Master has taught us the Fa. For a Dafa practitioner, what's most fundamental is whether one truly has faith in the Fa, diligently practices, and validates the Fa. There is an issue of faith in the “heavenly principles” Master has taught on all levels, from everyday people to cultivator, to gods in heaven. It is also the process by which a being positions himself, and it is a very serious matter that does not allow for any confusion or uncertainty.
Reflecting on this journey and the situations where we did things together as one body, I find that when things were done well, it was because we held strong faith in Master and the Fa. When things were not done well and we were left behind, it was because, deep down in our hearts, we wavered in our faith in Master and we failed to hold righteous thoughts.
If practitioners can remember to keep faith in Master and Dafa when encountering all kinds of interference in human society, we will definitely be able to make it through the calamity when the old universe is being replaced with the new.
