(Minghui.org) Over the last few years, follow practitioners and I have worked well together telling people about Falun Gong, persuading them to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), and asking them to sign petitions.
"Ask Me Again When You Need Help"
One lady said that she had already signed two petitions that had to do with Falun Gong and wasn't sure about signing a third since she hadn't heard any results from the earlier petitions. This one I mentioned was to protest forced organ harvesting.
I told her that two practitioners had been released as a result of all those who signed one petition, and we thanked her for her support. Delighted, she said, “My signature really had an impact! Let me sign this one, and ask me again next time when you need help.”
"We All Need to Do Something to Stop Forced Organ Harvesting"
After we clarified the facts about the practice to a gentleman in his 70s and helped him withdraw from the Youth League, we asked him to sign our petition to stop forced organ harvesting. He proudly announced that he wanted to sign, which alarmed his wife, who shouted, “You can't sign anything!” and asked what it was about.
When she found out that he was signing a petition in support of Falun Gong, she calmed down and listened to our explanation. The organ harvesting shocked her, and she said, “The CCP is murdering people. We all need to do something to stop it.” They both signed their names. She had been a party cadre in the village for dozens of years and now has withdrawn from the CCP.
One gentleman's face was radiant as he signed the petition to stop forced organ harvesting. I told him, "You did something sacred and righteous, and justice will prevail. You made a great choice for your future." He was very pleased with what he had done.
More and more people are signing Falun Gong petitions, from the 311 in the beginning to several thousand now. We hope that fellow practitioners can clarify the truth well enough that people have a chance to express their support for Falun Gong and their understanding that the persecution is wrong.
"What Did You Bring Us This Time?"
One day we went to a construction company. As soon as we got off our motorbike, several construction workers came by and said, “Hey, you have not been here for a while. What do you bring us this time, anything good?” We gave them Falun Gong pamphlets and helped more withdraw from the CCP and its youth organizations.
On our way to visit different areas in the company, an employee who knew the facts about Falun Gong told us to leave. He said someone had called the police. We thanked him and left.
When we stopped by that company again to talk to anyone we hadn't had the chance to meet earlier, we were told that the one who had reported us last time had run into problems. His wife was seriously ill and had been hospitalized, so he had returned to his hometown.
Another time we went to an orchard. The owner was very unpleasant and yelled, “You are Falun Gong. Leave everything here!” I smiled at him and said, “Leave everything here? I don't see that many people. Please count how many employees you have and I will leave you that many.”
My calm and composed demeanor changed his attitude. He smiled and said, “Give me one.” His workers each got one of the Falun Gong flyers. We told them to read them carefully, take them home, and share them with others. They also withdrew from the CCP and its organizations.
Many people decided to support us once they heard the facts about Falun Gong. When we told them about the CCP harvesting practitioners' organs for profit and plasticizing their bodies for human body exhibitions, they were disgusted. All of them signed our petition condemning the persecution of Falun Gong.
