(Minghui.org) The unified body of practitioners in our county had become unbalanced when some of the coordinators were illegally arrested. In some areas the practitioners were doing the three things well, while in other places the practitioners slacked off.
To help correct this problem, the practitioners in our county and the coordinators from different regions got together every two weeks to share experiences. The practitioners learned from each other, and this strengthened the practitioners as a whole and helped everyone improve. The importance of the coordinator role was emphasized at each meeting.
Master said,
“On the coordinator's part, when those problems come up, we can't say you're not responsible--you do have to bear responsibility for it. When you haven't done well leading such a large group of students the responsibility is major, and you should realize this. As your Master, I can't leave behind a single disciple, and I'll tell you that as a coordinator, you can't leave behind a single one of my disciples.” (“Teaching the Fa at the Meeting with Asia-Pacific Students”)
Master also said,
“Master has entrusted so many Dafa disciples to you, and expects you to lead them well. So it is something you must do, and it is your responsibility.” (“Fa Teaching at the 2013 Greater New York Fa Conference (Questions and Answers)”)
The outcome of the meetings was the coordinators helping practitioners form Fa study groups. The coordinators from different regions also agreed to go to every Fa study group to share once a week.
Region A
The coordinator of region A has put all of her efforts into helping practitioners do the three things well. To encourage a married couple in a nearby village, she went to their house to study the Fa. The husband who had given up the practice a long time prior, began practicing again and bega doing three things well. The wife, who had struggled with sickness karma, was able to become diligent with the practice and clarify the truth. Her situation quickly improved.
The practitioners in the region studied the Fa twice a week and shared their experiences whenever a problem surfaced. Due to hard work by the coordinators, the practitioners in that region improved.
There are now around 15 practitioners who practice together, study the Fa, and tell people the facts. In the past only a few people were practicing on and off. Now they usually ask for 40 to 50 copies of truth clarifying materials instead of the small amount previously needed.
Region B
After a year of hard work, practitioners in region B made breakthroughs in their efforts to clarify the facts. Th effort started at a Fa conference when people shared how important it was to form Fa study groups.
A coordinator in region B looked up a previous coordinator and helped her become active again despite the disapproval of others. The two coordinators cooperated well together to help fellow practitioners study the Fa. The coordinators also accompanied other practitioners to clarify the truth at markets. When the practitioners were ready to clarify the truth on their own, they in turn helped other practitioners.
Some practitioners living a few miles away were not doing the three things well. The coordinators took these practitioners to the market, where they talked with people about quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations. The practitioners now have a shortage of materials due to the increased demand. Just one year ago, they could not distribute all of the materials they were given.
Region C
There are two coordinators in region C. One is elderly, and the other is quite young. When the two coordinators started working together, the number of practitioners who helped to clarify the truth increased from three to 20.
The younger coordinator was very warmhearted and willingly did whatever needed to be done. If practitioners hesitated about coming to Fa study, she went to get them. She also took practitioners from distant locations to the markets to clarify the truth.
The elderly coordinator and her husband have for many years gone to the markets and nearby villages to clarify the facts. They also go with other practitioners to nearby areas to clarify the truth.
One day the coordinator asked a practitioner if she still wanted to go out, because the weather was windy and rainy. The practitioner said that bad weather would stop them from doing what they needed to do. As soon as they stepped out the door, the wind stopped. After they returned home, the wind started howling again. They felt the urgency of saving sentient beings and Masters' mercy.
Within two weeks, 957 people quit the CCP and the affiliated organizations due to their improved efforts.
Region D
The coordinator of region D is in her seventies. Many of the practitioners in her area had stopped practicing, and she was faced with a difficult situation. With righteous thoughts and wisdom she was able to encourage most of the practitioners to begin again to cultivate diligently.
She is very busy burning DVDs every day on the computer, or clarifying the truth on a cell phone. She is very capable and can also solve technical problems. When the desk calendar design first came out, she worked all night with other practitioners. After the first copy was printed, she held it to her chest.
The county coordinator wanted to know how many practitioners were unable to go out to clarify the truth, and requested the number of people who had quit the CCP and affiliated organizations from each region. The senior coordinator told the other practitioners, “If we have not saved anyone, then I will just say zero.”
A practitioner said, “Please wait. Let me try,” and later was able to assist seven people with quitting the CCP that day. Another practitioner knelt before Master's photo and asked Master to give her the wisdom and ability to clarify the truth to people. The next day she found that she was able to go out and tell people the facts.
Region E
There were twenty practitioners in region E, but only around five practitioners were able to clarify the truth and the rest did not. The three coordinators started gathering all the practitioners to study the Fa together. Each coordinator took one practitioner out to clarify the truth. The first time a coordinator and a practitioner went out together, they were able to persuaded 18 people to withdrawal from the CCP. The second time, when the coordinator went out with another practitioner, over ten people quit. The coordinator said, “Oh, I have missed so many years. I now realize the urgency in saving sentient beings. Master, I am sorry.”
Region F
“The door of our house is open to every practitioner.” This was the righteous statement made by the coordinator of region F after the persecution began in 1999. The Fa study group is still being held there. As a result, all practitioners go out to clarify the truth in the markets and in the villages in this region.
The practitioners usually meet along the roadside and some ride an electric bike with one or two other practitioners. They are prepared with water, snacks, truth clarifying materials, and cell phones, and distribute the truth clarifying materials wherever they go. Whether it is windy, rainy, hot, or cold, they go out early in the morning and don't return until late at night.
Region G
Region G has a coordinator that is a young 73 years old. He makes good use of every minute by producing Shen Yun DVDs and making truth clarifying phone calls. All of his effort is spent on Dafa-related things, and most of his 3000 yuan pension is spent making truth clarifying materials. He lives a frugal life. With the help of a young practitioner he made 10,000 Shen Yun DVDs last year.
It seems a rather a simple task to help other practitioners, but the role is challenging. Coordinators assist practitioners who are cultivating Dafa. As a coordinator, whether in the city, the county, or in a village, or you are coordinating a Fa study group, the responsibility is great. The vow of a coordinator is to assist the practitioners around them. Perhaps a practitioner can fulfill his vow if he does the three things well, but a coordinator should not only do the three things well, but also assist the other practitioners.
A coordinator should manage the whole body, listen to others, and also have the courage to make decisions. If they don't do what they are supposed to do, other practitioners may be misled because they did not fulfill their tasks. Coordinators should study the Fa more, to ensure that all that they do is based on the Fa. With the ability and wisdom that Master has given, they can do better in assisting Master in the Fa rectification process.
Please make good use of every minute to be diligent. Time has been extended for saving sentient beings. We should think of how much Master has suffered, and the numerous Buddhas, Daos, heavenly beings, and sentient beings who have placed their hope in us. We should think of our vows. If we cannot return, sentient beings will be destroyed.
There are many things that need to be improved. I hope we can cooperate better and form a more solid whole body, not leaving out one single practitioner.
