(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Liu Yuxiu was illegally arrested by Zhang Xikun, and other officers from the Domestic Security Division of the Decheng District Police Department on September 7, 2013, and she is still being detained there.
On the day of Ms. Liu's arrest, the police broke into her home and ransacked it, confiscating her computer and printer. They have broken into and searched her home twice.
The Domestic Security used the Falun Gong materials they confiscated from her home as evidence against her to give her case to the court. Her family hired an attorney to defend her. However, she has been denied visits since her arrest. Her family is very worried about her safety.
Ms. Liu has two children. Her daughter was in the eleventh grade and her son was in the first grade. The children were present and too scared to cry when the police ransacked their home. The police also went to Ms. Liu's daughter's school to harass her, and she was terrified.
Both of her two children are in need of her care. Now Ms. Liu's mother-in-law is trying to take care of her two children. However, her mother-in-law is physically not able to care for them properly.
