(Minghui.org) Ms. Sun Bo worked as a nurse at the clinic of the Affiliated High School of South China Normal University (SCNU). Agents from the Guangzhou Homeland Security office illegally arrested Ms. Sun at the clinic on the morning of March 11, 2014. They took her away in a van, and her family has not had any contact with her since. Additional agents searched her apartment and confiscated her computer, Falun Dafa materials, and her personal belongings.
Ms. Sun, 49, was transferred to the clinic in 1990. She is devoted to her work and is well liked by her coworkers and the students. She has a happy family and her daughter is in high school.
Ms. Sun began to practice Falun Dafa in1996 and had benefited physically and mentally from the practice. She had stopped practicing Falun Dafa after the persecution began in 1999 due to the tremendous pressure created by the Chinese Communist Party. For instance, she was pressured at work and by family members who feared for her safety.
Her husband was diagnosed with gum cancer in September 2013, and was very weak after his surgery. Because his life was in danger, Ms. Sun thought of Falun Dafa. She asked her husband to truly believe in the teachings of Falun Dafa. He gradually regained his health and was able to return to work just two months after his surgery. Ms. Sun witnessed the miraculous effects that the Falun Dafa principles had on her husband and began to practice again.
The Chinese authorities learned that she had started to practice again and arrested her. None of her family members know where she is being held. Her husband, daughter, and elderly parents are all very worried and fear for Ms. Sun's life.
