(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Cheng Wenbin was arrested by more than 10 agents and policemen from the Wanzhou District Domestic Security Division, Police Department and the Shahe Police Station on the morning of February 26, 2014. They took her to the Zhoujiaba Detention Center in the Wanzhou District.
Ms. Cheng, 64, was previously arrested on June 2, 2012, for distributing informational materials about Falun Dafa. The materials contained information about the persecution and forced organ harvesting of practitioners by Bo Xilai, former Communist Party chief in Chongqing, and Wang Lijun, vice-mayor and head of the Public Security Bureau in Chongqing. Ms. Cheng was arrested by officers from the Xinmin Police Station in Fengjie County and sentenced to one year in Renhe Women's Forced Labor Camp.
Ms. Cheng's family suffered a great deal after her arrest in 2012. Her husband was diagnosed with colon cancer and was in Huaxi Hospital in Chengdu City for treatment. Mr. Cheng sent his mother elsewhere since he couldn't take care of her. No one was home to take care of their bedridden son and mentally challenged grandson. Six months later, the son died as a result of lack of care. He called out for his mother before he died. The grandson was often found wandering the streets.
Ms. Cheng is from Anping Town, Fengjie County, Chongqing. She lives with her family in Junzhai Community, Zhoujiaba, Wanzhou District, and runs a small hotel.
Ms. Cheng, who used to have many illnesses, began to practice Falun Dafa in 1997. She benefited greatly and became healthy. She was able earn enough to take care of the family.
