(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners Dang Fuqiang, Zhang Hongye, and Zhang Jiang from Xuchang City, Henan Province were followed by police on March 28, 2014, and then illegally arrested. Their homes were raided the same day. These practitioners are detained in Yuzhou City Detention Center. Additional details are unknown.
Mr. Dang Fuqiang, 40, works at Yuzhou City Labor Bureau, where he is well regarded. Many positions at the labor bureau could be used by people to make a profit for themselves, however Mr. Dang conducts himself according to the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, taught by Master Li Hongzhi. the founder of Falun Gong. He follows his supervisor's direction and never requests any assignments based on his own interest.
Mr. Dang is in charge of retiree wages. He follows the related regulations and never gives anyone a hard time. He personally visits retirees who cannot come to the office, confirms their situation, and handles their cases to minimize the burden on them and their families. Many retirees and their families are touched by Mr. Dang's thoughtfulness.
Mr. Dang was arrested at his workplace. Many people who care about him are worried.
Mr. Zhang Hongye from Xuchang City visited practitioner Zhang Jiang at Yuzhou City on March 28, 2014. They later went to Yuzhou City Labor Bureau and visited Mr. Dang Fuqiang. When they left the labor bureau, they drove to Mr. Zhang Jiang's home, and were followed by police. Police found Shen Yun Performing Arts DVDs in the vehicle.
Within less than one hour police went to Mr. Dang's office and arrested him. The police later raided their homes separately. The Shen Yun show has become a sensation throughout the rest of the world, but distributing Shen Yun DVDs inside China is considered a crime, for which people are persecuted.
It is said that this arrest is the result of extensive planning and surveillance by police, who had been monitoring practitioner activities and their phone calls for a long time. The arrest was personally directed by the Xuchang City Police Department deputy chief Li Jiancang. Li Jiancang was chief of Yuzhou City Police Department from 2000 to 2003 (approximately), the period when Falun Gong practitioners were brutally persecuted in China.
Liu Yuting, chief of Yuzhou City Police Department and National Security Brigade, participated in the persecution. In order to follow the practitioners, Xuchang City Public Department dispatched a few technical reconnaissance vehicles.
