(Minghui.org) Many practitioners in Zhuozhou, Beijing, and Laishui were illegally arrested on February 25 and 26, 2013. Their homes were searched and ransacked, and their computers, printers, CDs, and cash were taken. All the practitioners had contact with two coordinators in Zhuozhou.
At the final moment of Fa-rectification, for such a thing to happen again, especially after the mass arrests in Shijiazhuang City, must have something to do with the cultivation state of practitioners as a whole in these places.
A few days before the arrests I asked a coordinator who was one of those arrested, “You have been cultivating for so many years. What changes has the Fa made in you, such as your in personality, notions, temperament, or habits?
She replied, "Has Master taught us anything like that in the Fa? If not, we shouldn't talk about such things." I asked her a few more questions, and she couldn't give me a straightforward answer to most of them.
Maybe each of us should think seriously about it: We have been cultivating for years. If we don't even know in what ways we have changed by cultivating, then what are we cultivating? If we cannot give a clear answer, then we may have found the cause of the mass arrests at a deeper level.
Failing to Understand the Fa on the Basis of the Fa
If we can all assimilate ourselves unconditionally to the Fa, we would have no gaps between us and would naturally form one body. I think this is what is meant by “a Great Way has no form.” (“Fa Teaching Given in Manhattan” 2006)
However, some practitioners always want to form one body that has a form. When someone wants to be a leader or coordinator, there are others who provide conditions to help that person fulfill his or her wish. This caused those who want to be leaders to be unable to let go of their attachment to being the boss and their strong desire to control others. Those who want to do “spectacular things” always seem to have opportunities to do so. This is because our human mentality has encouraged them to do so and has pushed them into it.
Coordinators with Human Mentalities
Some practitioners in Zhuozhou like to coordinate national-level projects, so there are national coordinators, provincial coordinators, and county-level coordinators. When practitioners hold a Fa-conference, the leader first makes a speech, which is followed by practitioners sharing their experiences, and, in the end, the leader gives a summary speech. They've set up a central Fa-study group, and local coordinators need to report to them regularly. The coordinators give instructions, and the names of people who quit the Chinese Communist Party also have to be shown to the coordinators.
We may need to have roles like this in our workplace, but there is no such hierarchy in cultivation. Still, our human mentality has encouraged those who want to be the boss, the leaders, to fulfill their desire in the name of assisting Master in Fa-rectification. These people always do some “spectacular things,” and “coordinate the whole area in Zhuozhou.”
They started a national project in 2007, and in 2012, more than 180 practitioners nationwide were arrested, nearly 20 of them from Zhuozhou. Some practitioners were taken to labor camps and some were sentenced to imprisonment. It was such a bitter lesson. Now, seven years later, the tragedy was repeated.
When practitioners warned a coordinator that he was being followed by the police and a fellow practitioner had been arrested as a result of it, the coordinator believed that they were arrested because they didn't have strong righteous thoughts and it had nothing to do with him. He continued to come and go between material production sites, and consequently all the material sites that he was in contact with were ransacked by the police, and almost all those practitioners who followed him to do “spectacular things” were arrested.
Strong Attachment to the End of Fa-rectification
Bo Xilai was sentenced, Li Dongsheng was arrested, and so was Zhou Yongkang. Practitioners started to feel the evil wouldn't last much longer and Fa-rectification would soon come to an end. They think the evil no longer dares to touch us and we can now vigorously do “spectacular things.” They started to pay less attention to security issues: Calling each other on mobile phones without any safety concerns and casually visiting material production sites.
We have been attached to the ending time of Fa-rectification for 15 years. Master is worried about us, and yet we still can't let go of our human mentality and have failed to understand the Fa from the Fa. We keep holding onto our superficial human shell.
Mistakenly Regarding Doing Things as Being Diligent
For years, we've talked about being diligent and cultivating solidly, but some practitioners regard doing things quickly and doing “spectacular things” as being diligent. This is misunderstanding cultivation. Being diligent means that we must diligently let go of our human mentality and our attachments, and validate the Fa and save sentient beings in the state of a God.
We must draw a lesson from our bitter experience. Each of us should search within and find the notions and behaviors we still have that are yet to be assimilated to the Fa, and quickly rectify ourselves.
