(Minghui.org) Ms. Wang Meiling, 62, was an accountant at Huosaixiao Ltd. in Yunan Province. After she retired, she was fortunate enough to encounter Falun Dafa, begin practicing, and benefit both mentally and physically.
Ms. Wang was arrested by Chinese Communist Party officials in March 2011, for distributing Shen Yun DVDs. She was illegally sentenced to a three-year prison term, and incarcerated in the No. 2 Women's Prison in Yunnan Province.
The following is a letter she wrote to the prison guards before being released, to share her experience of what it means to solidly cultivate in Falun Dafa.
On March 10, 2011, I was telling people who were doing their morning exercises in the park to follow “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance,” and be good people. I also gave them DVDs if the “2011 New Tang Dynasty Television Global Chinese New Year Gala” as gifts. I told them that it was about true, traditional Chinese arts that emphasized pure kindness and beauty, and was acclaimed as the No. 1 show in the world, and that those who have the chance to see it have good fortune.
People from Chuxiong City Domestic Security Division arrested me for doing this. They also ransacked my home and held me in detention. The Chuxiong City Procuratorate and court sentenced me to three years in prison.
In prison, I was treated cruelly, and was under intense pressure. I was tortured until my eyes hurt and developed cataracts. My blood pressure went up to 176/11, and my heart rate went up to 114. I fainted, temporarily lost my vision, and was locked in a cell.
Two or three prisoners were directed to watch me around the clock. Whenever they saw me doing anything they didn't like, they cursed me. When I ran out of the prison shouting “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!” they grabbed me by the collar and threw me down. My head hit the wall and my fingers were twisted. I was badly injured both mentally and physically.
However, the crueler the torture I was subjected to, the more clearly I realized that I was a Dafa disciple. While in Yunnan No. 2 Women's Prison, what was most important? My suffering was not important—I was there to save sentient beings by helping them to understand the truth.
Therefore, I have written truth-clarification materials to the guards from different angles. I have run through the prison shouting, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!” many times. I wanted to appeal to people's kindness and conscience. My voice has broken through many blockades, and been heard by many people.
The cataracts in my eyes subsequently became better without injections, medication, or surgery. My eyes are now clear, my vision better, and I can see clearly. The high blood pressure and elevated heart rate also became much better without injections or medications.
This is a miracle that no one can hide! These results can't be achieved by medical science! This is the miraculousness and beauty of Falun Dafa! I'm here to share with everyone the good fortune brought to me by Falun Dafa.
Under the intense pressure, I was very clear. Being Chinese, I loved the field that I grew up in. I was about to leave the prison, but I felt very heavy-hearted. I was worried for my fellow inmates, and worried for a few police officers and the lives of 3,000.
Because they lost their freedom under intense pressure, their minds were poisoned by the CCP lies. They can't tell right from wrong or kindness from evil, and their lives are at risk. However, the miraculousness and beauty of Falun Dafa, and the miracles that were manifested through me, can help them make the right choice.
Heaven will eliminate the CCP because it persecutes Falun Gong. Kind people, please discern right from wrong and quit the Party to ensure your safety. Seize this opportunity, that only comes once in an age, and please choose a bright future for yourselves!
