4. [Maoming City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Liang Guangzhen Held in Guangdong Women's Prison

Ms. Liang Guangzhen was sentenced to 4 years in prison by the Maonan District Court on December 10, 2013. She appealed to the intermediate court on December 18. In the middle of January 2014, officers in Maoming City arrested her at her home and took her to the Guangdong Women's Prison.

6. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Dai Julan Arrested

Ms. Dai Julan was arrested by officers from the Zhongzhan Police Station in Zhongshan Park on March 8, 2014, for distributing informational materials about Falun Gong. Officers from the Changqing Park Police Station broke into Ms. Dai's home, arrested her husband, and ransacked their home. They confiscated photos of Falun Gong founder Mr. Li Hongzhi, Falun Gong books, two MP3 players, informational materials about Falun Gong, and a tape recorder. Ms. Dai and her husband have now been released.

7. [Guiyang City, Guizhou Province] Four Practitioners Arrested and Homes Ransacked

Mr. Ye and his wife from Beijing Road were arrested and their home ransacked on the afternoon of April 21, 2014. At the same time, officers from the Shuikousi Police Station arrested Mr. Zhang Chunming, ransacked his home, and confiscated two printers, a computer, a DVD burner, and other items. Another practitioner was arrested and released on the same day.

Ms. Li Mingxiu from the Jingyang District was arrested and taken to the Lushanlu Police Station on the morning of April 21, 2014, for explaining the facts about Falun Gong. She was then taken to the Guanghan Detention Center for a term of 7 days.

9. [Hegang City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Huang Xiaoxia, Her Husband, and Mr. Yang Zhaocai Arrested

Ms. Huang Xiaoxia was reported to the police for posting information about Falun Gong on the afternoon of April 23, 2014. Over ten officers from the Jiefanglu Police Station and the Hongqilu Police Station ransacked her home that evening. They confiscated two computers, a tablet, 5 mobile disk drives, 7 packages of bags, 4 bags of paper, 3 paper cutting knives, about 70 bottles of ink, two printers, several hundred yuan in cash, an MP5 player, and informational materials about Falun Gong. They arrested Ms. Huang; her husband, Mr. Xu Xianda; and Mr. Yang Zhaocai, who happened to be visiting the couple.

Officers barged into Mr. Yang's home the next day around noontime and confiscated his Falun Gong books.

Mr. Sun Jiangdong, the husband of arrested practitioner Ms. Chen Guangxia, was arrested for going to the Gaomi Domestic Security Division and demanding the release of his wife.

Mr. Pan Lianqiao, about 50, was arrested on April 23, 2014

15. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Arrest Warrant Issued for Mr. Wang Guanghui

Mr. Wang Guanghui, in his 40s, a researcher at Anhui Academy of Social Sciences, was arrested and his home ransacked by officers from the Wuhulu Police Station in the middle of March 2014. He has been held in the Hefei Detention Center. The Baohe District Procuratorate recently issued a warrant for his arrest.

16. [Tongcheng County, Hubei Province] Ms. Wu Meie and Ms. Ge Xianfeng Detained

Ms. Wu Meie and Ms. Ge Xianfeng, both in their 60s, were arrested on the afternoon of April 24, 2014, by Zhang Dinger and Li Chenggang from the Domestic Security Division for distributing Shen Yun Performing Arts DVDs. They were taken to the Domestic Security Division, then to the Tongcheng Detention Center.

Ms. Peng Guiming from the Daxing District was arrested on the morning of April 24, 2014, for explaining the facts about Falun Gong in Lixian Town in the Daxing District. Her whereabouts are unknown.

Mr. Jia Lixin from the Gaosheng Oil Extracting Field, Liaohe Oil Fields, was arrested for talking about Falun Gong in the Shuangtaizi District on April 19, 2014. He was taken to the Panjin No.3 Detention Center.

20. [Yanzhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Fengying Detained

Ms. Li Fengying was taken to the Jinan Detention Center on April 14, 2014. Her home was also ransacked.

21. [Chenxi County, Hunan Province] Mr. Mao Changwang Arrested

Mr. Mao Changwang from Chenyang Town, Chenxi County, was arrested at home on the afternoon of April 24, 2014, by 610 Office deputy director Jin Fang and officers from the local police station. They ransacked his home and confiscated a computer, a printer, consumable materials, a satellite dish, and other items.

22. [Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province] Ms. Wang Xiaofen Arrested

Ms. Wang Xiaofen, a high school teacher, was arrested on the morning of April 11, 2014, by officers from the Xinghualing Police Department, for raising awareness about Falun Gong. After being held in the Taiyuan Detention Center for over 10 days, she was taken away by 610 Office agents and her whereabouts are unknown.

23. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Wen Huilian's Home Ransacked

Over ten officers from the Wuhan Police Department, the Hongshan Police Department, and the Hepingjie Police Station broke into Ms. Wen Huilian's home in the Qingshan District and confiscated all her informational materials about Falun Gong. Because Ms. Wen was not at home at the time, the officers stayed until 4 p.m. and tried to entice her family to help them to arrest her. Ms Wen had no choice but move from place to place to avoid arrest.

24. [Yueyang City, Hunan Province] Ms. Chen Wanqing Arrested

Ms. Chen Wanqing, in her 70s, was followed by a disguised police vehicle on her way home on the afternoon of April 16, 2014. Several plainclothes officers got out of the car and snatched her key and other items from her purse. They used the key to open her home and confiscated her Falun Gong books, a cell phone, and 1,500 yuan in paper currency with messages about Falun Gong written on it. They also called the numbers in her cell phone and harassed her family and friends.

Ms. Chen was taken to the Jineshan Police Station, where she was interrogated and ordered to sign some paper. She was released at around 7 p.m.. Officers from the Jineshan Police Station went to her home and harassed her again on the evening of April 20 and threatened to arrest her.
