(Minghui.org) On May 13, the 15 ^th World Falun Dafa Day, the State Senate of New York passed a resolution recognizing Falun Dafa for bringing better health and inner peace to millions around the world.

Falun Gong was first introduced to New York State in 1996 and has grown to include hundreds of practitioners, who have contributed to their communities by offering free workshops in senior centers, corporate offices, health clubs, private residences, and police stations.

The resolution was proposed by 14 state senators. It is the 4 ^th such resolution passed by the State Senate since 2011.

This year is the 22 ^nd anniversary of Falun Dafa's public introduction. Five towns on Long Island also issued proclamations supporting Falun Dafa and celebrating World Falun Dafa Day, including Islip, Smithtown, Riverhead, Southhampton, and Southold.
