(Minghui.org) It has been 22 years since Master started to spread the Fa and teach the exercises on May 13, 1992. There is a paragraph in Zhuan Falun which says:
“I think that those who can listen to my lectures in person, I would say, honestly... you will realize in the future that this period of time is extremely precious. Of course, we believe in predestined relationship. Everyone sits here all because of a predestined relationship.”
When I read this paragraph several days ago, I stopped and remembered those days when Master taught the Fa in person in Beijing.
I was 52 years old 22 years ago. In June of that year Master came to Beijing and held the first nine-day lectures to teach the Fa. When I returned from a business trip, I heard about an advanced qigong class, being held at the Hall of the Building Materials Bureau in Ganjiakou.
I immediately went there and was told this was the last day of the class and it was too late for me to attend. I was sorry to hear this, but then was told that on the morning of the following day, Master would hold a consultation class and treat illness for those in attendance. I had been suffering for years with many diseases such as cholecystitis, atrophic gastritis, enteritis, ureteral stones, neurasthenia, kidney disease and bronchitis. I had been to Western and Chinese medicine doctors. I had also practiced a dozen Buddhist qigong, Daoist qigong and other forms of qigong. None of these improved my health. This was a good opportunity and I would definitely attend.
The next day I got up early and hurried there to get in line. I saw three young men and asked the person next to me which one was Master. He said Master was the tallest one. Master was smiling, and just by watching him for a while I could tell he was kind and compassionate.
Master led two practitioners to cure diseases for people. When it was my turn, it was Master who adjusted my body. I felt very fortunate! When Master finished, I didn't leave. Master said that he had finished, but he hadn't even patted my back, "How could I be healed without your touch?"
Master then patted my back, twice. I left satisfied. Later when I attended Master's 9-day lecture, when talking about healing Master said that some seemed to be doubtful of his healing unless they were touched. I remembered my experience and thought Master must be referring to me and I felt ashamed.
On the way home I was already feeling different. My body was hot, especially my back, and this burning feeling lasted for 20 days. I had not slept well for the last 20 years because of neurasthenia, but that night, I slept through the whole night. This qigong Master was amazing! I definitely wanted to attend Master's 9 day lectures, the next time they were offered.
My husband, son, and I, attended the second 9 day lecture series in Beijing. I listened very attentively to Master teaching the Fa. Master patiently and compassionately gave lectures with a resounding voice. I had listened to at least 50 qigong seminars from others in the past, but had never heard of such profound principles, so simply explained. Falun Gong is indeed guiding people towards high levels. The qigong I had listened to before could in no way compare to what I was hearing now.
One practitioner sitting beside me whose third eye was open, told me that the scenery behind Master was beautiful. There were heavenly buildings made of jade. He saw Falun falling down upon practitioners just like flying snow filling the whole hall and adjusting practitioners bodies. I realized at that moment that I had finally found Master.
I experienced two fundamental changes after attending the lectures. First, I knew who I was, where I came from and where I will go, and I knew how to cultivate towards high levels. I decided to follow Master until completion. Secondly, I vomited and had diarrhea for two days and then felt my body was very light, like never before. All my diseases disappeared. I was a new person.
I had benefited a lot. I attended more of Master's classes in Beijing and other cities. I established a practice site and a study group in my area. I also encouraged many colleagues and relatives to attend Master's classes. Later on, I even did some volunteer work at Master's classes. I helped to spread the Fa far and wide.
Master has taught the Fa for 22 years. My family and I have been practicing Falun Dafa all those years. We have been doing the three things, and strive to be more diligent every day. I had a profound thought the last time I read Zhuan Falun . Master came from the top of the universe and led gods coming down level by level, and created this world to spread the Fa and save sentient beings. I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to listen to Master teaching the Fa in person 22 years ago. It was really a happy time. All the more, I feel my responsibility, especially at this last moment, to save more sentient beings and fulfill my historical mission.
