Greetings, Master! Greetings, fellow cultivators!
I am a new practitioner who began to cultivate Falun Gong in March 2013. I feel fortunate and would like to thank Master for his great compassion.
Although I have not cultivated for a long time, I still want to do the three things that Master wants us to do. Last November, I joined a team that called China to tell people the bad deeds that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) had committed, in the hopes that they would quit the party to have a safe future.
Attachment of Fear
One day, I called a cell phone number to tell the person to quit the CCP. I first talked about why he should quit the CCP, and then asked him directly if he joined the Party in the past.
His answer was brief, “No.” I then asked if he had joined the Youth League of the CCP when he was teenager. He said no again.
I did not give up and continued to ask if he had joined the CCP’s Young Pioneers as an elementary student. “If you were a Young Pioneer member,” I said, “You will need to announce that you quit the organization; otherwise, when heaven punishes the CCP for its bad deeds in the future, you will also be afflicted.”He paused awhile and said he was a police officer.
Realizing he was working in one of the primary agencies responsible for the persecution, I began to talk about the staged Tiananmen Square Self-Immolation incident, which is propaganda faked by the CCP to defame Falun Gong. I also talked about other brutality that had occurred during the persecution such as organ harvesting from living practitioners.
After I told him this information, I asked if he understood these facts and he said yes. I then recommended that he quit the CCP organizations for s safe future. He agreed and gave me his name.
Before hanging up the phone, I reminded him to memorize “Falun Dafa is good” and “Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance is good.” He said yes he would.
Throughout the process, he appeared very courteous and his voice was low. On the other hand, I was very nervous the entire time.
With fear and little confidence, I did poorly in the phone calling at the beginning. Little by little, I found reading the script did not work well. So I tried to speak with my own words and gradually made some progress.
Then I had a dream, which made me transfer to another calling team to rescue practitioners. In that dream, about 20 or 30 people came with me to this world, all from a dimension in a higher level. We all seemed to play different roles and six of us were police officers or court staff members, with all of them wearing a uniform.
In the beginning, three of the police officers came to stand on my side—in the dream I knew that they had been saved. Although the remaining three were in front of me, they did not come to stand on my side, as if one transparent layer of material separated them from us. One of them kept talking, and saying something like that they had done their best to play their roles.
Gradually, those three people realized that they could not be saved and their voice went lower and lower. Later, all of them stopped talking. Looking at me pitifully, they hoped that I would save them…
Waking up from the dream, I still remember the vivid scene and felt very sad. Realizing those people may have been involved in persecuting practitioners, I decided to join the rescue team, to help free detained practitioners as well as save these police officers.
Experiences on the Rescue Team
In the beginning I still read scripts and I was very fearful. When police officers said bad words to me, my attachment of struggling surfaced and I wanted to defend myself.
As I continued to make phone calls, the capacity of my heart enlarged. I became more selfless and gained strong righteous thoughts. I also noticed attachments of mine and tried my best to eliminate them.
One time the phone calling did not go well for several days. The recipients often swore at me and then hung up the phone, leaving no time for me to explain the facts. Upon looking within, I knew I must have done something wrong. By calming down and looking inward, I realized the motivation of my phone calling was to improve myself, instead of truly saving them. After noticing that problem, I decided to do better.
The next day, I adjusted my mindset before making the calls to make sure I did so to truly save the recipients. It was a police station and many officers were there.
Even before finishing two or three sentences, the officer hung up the phone. I called again, and a female officer picked up the phone. She then gave it to a male officer, who began to say bad words to me.
I was not disturbed and continued to talk with him calmly, “This is a phone call that is very important for you. Please trust me and do not hang it up.” I explained the staged Tiananmen Square incident and the organ harvesting from living practitioners. I also told them the head of the 610 Office had been arrested and they, too, would be held responsible for their bad deeds.
The officers laughed at me in the beginning. But I did not give up and continued to talk. Little by little, they became quiet and listened to me. I said to them, “I can tell you this over the phone, but it is up to you ourselves whether you can be saved. Please promise that you will not persecute Falun Gong anymore; otherwise, who could help you then?”
With those words, I was in tears.
Then I told them how to quit the CCP and repeated it several times, making sure they could write it down. In the end, I heard the phone was hung up gently, as if they did that to avoid hurting me.
I was still sobbing after hanging up the phone. But I knew those officers had heard my words. At that time, I remembered Master’s words in Hong Yin Volume II, “Mercy can melt heaven and earth into spring.” VERIFIED In the past, I considered myself compassionate. But this experience further enlarged the capacity of my heart.
My Experiences with the Urgent Cases Team
Later I joined another group, Urgent Cases Team, which called to free newly arrested practitioners.
One day, I called a Domestic Security Division manager. In the beginning, he swore at me with many bad words. With no chance to speak, I simply sent forth righteous thoughts. After a while, he stopped and checked if I was still listening. Upon hearing I was still there, he continued.
This went on for a long time and he finally stopped. So I began to talk and explained to him the facts of Falun Gong and the persecution. After a while, I told him the ways to quit the CCP, as well as information about the World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong, and for him to provide persecution details and remedy the loss he had caused. He followed my suggestion and wrote down the information.
A few days later, I called this officer again. He said he was hesitant to quit the CCP because he still lived in China. Nonetheless, he gave me some phones numbers of his coworkers and supervisors. When I called him again, he gladly agreed to quit the CCP.
Encouragements
While making phone calls during the past Chinese New Year, I was afraid that doing so may disturb their holiday celebration. Because of that, I made very few phone calls and felt very bad.
Then I read some feedback on Minghui. Because of our rescuing phone calls, many detained practitioners had been released and I contributed to some of them. In particular, one article mentioned an incident in which someone reported practitioners to police. The officers came and urged the practitioners to leave, saying, “You have to leave now; otherwise, I will have to arrest you and overseas phone calls will have to try to rescue you.”
One other time, more feedback was sent to the rescuing phone call teams, thanking us for our help. They encouraged us to keep it up since our contribution could not be replaced by other efforts inside China.
Recently, I did not do well on making the phone calls. Upon looking within, I noticed it was a human notion—being worried about this or that, instead of focusing on saving people. Realizing that loophole, I soon caught up with the others and resumed the rescue work.
I am very fortunate to have this opportunity to cultivate, work with fellow practitioners, and save sentient beings.
