(Minghui.org) I realized, after practicing Falun Dafa for so many years, that there were significant gaps in our local cultivation environment. We look down on each other and don't cooperate well. Even when others do cooperate well, some undercut their efforts and form their own small circles of practitioners to monopolize what they do, in an effort to protect themselves and convince others.
A practitioner at a local sharing conference once drew an analogy, saying that a coordinator is like the string that pearls are strung on. If there is no string, then the pearls are scattered, much like the practitioners in our area. There is not a cohesive one body, and many gaps exist that impede the normal functioning of our projects.
Everyone knows that there is not much time left, and we are all busy cultivating ourselves. We should fulfill the responsibilities that we set forth in our prehistoric vows. Have we really honored our vows? I hope that everyone is able to let go of their attachments, eliminate all gaps, be frank and honest with one another, and truly look within. Let us truly cultivate ourselves and not simply utter empty phrases.
I wanted to share my innermost thoughts and feelings with my fellow practitioners. Please point out anything that is incorrect. Thank you.
