(Minghui.org) Ms. Li Sanmei and another Falun Gong practitioner whose surname is Tang from the Hecheng District in Huaihua City, Hunan Province, were illegally arrested by Yingfeng Police Station officers on May 28, 2014, for clarifying the facts about the persecution of Falun Gong.
At the police station, three officers beat Ms. Li. They yelled, “We will beat you to death!” She sustained multiple injuries. Her face was swollen, and her clothes were covered with bloodstains.
The police stole 900 yuan from her, which was money her son had given her for living expenses. They confiscated other items and refused to return anything when asked.

She was released the day of her arrest due to her injuries. The other practitioner, Tang, was taken to the Huaihua Detention Center.
