(Minghui.org) As more and more Chinese have learned the facts about Falun Gong and the persecution, they are more likely to engage in open discussions with practitioners and other Chinese tourists at places of attraction on their overseas trips. Such a story recently occurred in Brisbane’s Chinatown in Australia. An entire tourist group quit the Chinese communist organizations after understanding the facts.
Brisbane’s Chinatown is a must-go place for Chinese tourists. Tour buses frequent there on a daily basis. At their truth-clarification site in Chinatown, local Falun Gong practitioners talked to the Chinese people about the merits of Falun Gong and of the ongoing brutal persecution in China.
One weekend, Benny, a practitioner who volunteers at the site each week, greeted a group of Chinese tourists who were mostly elderly, “Hello, quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations will bring you peace and prosperity. I can help process your decisions to withdraw from them.”
Some tourists responded, “We are older, and we are no longer active members [of the Chinese communist organizations].” One of them questioned Benny, “Does quitting the CCP really help? Will I be safe after I quit?”
Benny replied, “Yes, it is true. Do you know that over 160 million Chinese people have already quit the CCP or its affiliated organizations? As you already know, there have been a lot of natural and man-made disasters in China recently. As a consequence of communist tyranny, karmic retribution is befalling the land of China and its people. But you will be safe so long as you quit the CCP, even if that’s with an alias.”
Benny then explained that it is most important that you formally quit and sever all association with the CCP and its affiliates, because everyone vowed to devote him or herself to the Party when they joined, and your solemn pledge will remain if you do not quit. You will then be implicated with the Party when it is eliminated by Heaven.
The listeners were still skeptical. At that point, another tourist, an older lady, chimed in. “She is a Falun Gong practitioner. You must believe what Falun Gong practitioners say.”
The other tourists were surprised at her words and turned to look at her expectantly. The older lady continued, “You know Falun Gong practitioners are not selfish at all. They are very good people and are really considerate, because they believe in truthfulness, compassion and goodness.”
Hearing this, many tourists smiled and someone said, “That sounds good. We all like truthfulness compassion and goodness!”
Benny hurried to correct her, “Actually our belief is better than that. We believe in Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance. When we encounter a problem or a confrontation, we don't blame others. We look inward to find the cause of the problem and we are tolerant. Isn't it good to be tolerant?”
“We like them both: Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance, and goodness.” Many of them agreed.
“I will help all of you quit the CCP organizations,” Benny said. Everyone in the tour group nodded in agreement.
After helping them to choose aliases to quit the CCP, she told them nine words (Chinese characters) to keep in mind. “You have chosen a bright future for yourselves today. So I am going to tell you the very important nine words. If you recite the words often and sincerely, heaven will help you when disasters come. Remember, they are: 'Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance is good.'”
The lady who questioned Benny at the beginning was skeptical again. “Is it really so simple as to recite the nine words every day? Why should I believe that they will keep me safe?”
Benny said that many people who believe in Falun Gong and who have recited the words everyday have had miraculous experiences.
The older lady who had backed Benny previously spoke again. “It is true. You must believe her. My mother is 86 years old and very healthy now. But a few years ago, she was diagnosed with cancer and the doctor said there was no cure. One of our friends is a Falun Gong practitioner. She is very kind, and only wanted to help my mother and didn't ask for anything in return. She told my mother to recite the same nine words silently. My mother recited the words for a week and her cancer disappeared.”
The listeners were surprised at her testimony. She continued, “My mother is 86 years old now. She is very healthy and lively. Now, not just my mother, but everyone in my family recites the nine words. But my mother is the most diligent. She recites the words a hundred times first thing after getting up every morning.”
Everyone who was listening changed their attitude and understood the facts and supported Falun Gong. Several younger men of the group came to Benny and thanked her.
This conversation took place in Brisbane’s Chinatown and only lasted a few minutes. But the whole group of Chinese tourists decided to quit the CCP and accepted the important words: “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance is good.”
