(Minghui.org) I live in a small town in northern China. Every day after group exercise practice and sending forth righteous thoughts, we make our way to local markets and fairs to clarify the truth and save sentient beings.
Most residents have become familiar with our group of Falun Gong older ladies. Passerby ask for truth clarification materials, CDs and the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. We use currency inscribed with truth clarification phrases on them.
My husband and I obtained the Fa together in 1996. My four daughters and sons-in-law are also practitioners. We have all benefited greatly from Master's compassionate care, and no words can express our gratitude to Master for saving us.
Save More Sentient Beings
Master mentioned,“The essential goal of Dafa’s vast spreading in the world, however, and saving of sentient beings, is to redeem everything—to save all sentient beings capable of being saved. And that is why we have done as much as we can, trying our best to save more.” (“Fa Teaching Given at the 2010 New York Fa Conference”)
Every year just before the Chinese New Year's eve, we distribute the wall and tabletop calendars we've made to major supermarkets, convenience stores and shopping malls, hairdressing shops, eateries and taxi cab drivers. These calendars have become very popular with the locals, and are immediately hung up on walls and doors, or displayed on office desks and sales counters.
Many people have said, "Thank you! Falun Gong practitioners are really talented!" Others have asked for copies to pass to friends and family. One young man even shouted, “Falun Dafa is good! The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) embezzles money from ordinary citizens, and will soon meet its end!” People have started awakening to the truth!
Around the Chinese New Year, adults and children traditionally buy new clothes and goods to celebrate the new year. This busy period is also a good opportunity for us to save sentient beings. Within the past six months, we have personally distributed close to ten thousand copies of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, and demand has exceeded supply for all our materials. Many people bring their entire families with them when they buy goods for the New Year, and we take the opportunity to make them aware of the truth. In most cases, the entire family agrees to quit the CCP and hurries to get our materials.
From early morning until afternoon, I join fellow practitioners in persuading passersby to quit the CCP, while distributing the flyers.
Every year in spring, our town hosts a grand three-day festival. This attracts visitors, who make the trip from surrounding villages to visit. These visitors usually rest at noon near the roadside, and we skip our afternoon meals in order to save as many lives as possible. We have become friends with the merchants who sell clothes there. Some have asked for copies of Zhuan Falun.
Families whose children manage to secure places in a university come to our town for groceries to prepare a lavish feast, or hold the celebration at a local restaurant. We take the opportunity to clarify the truth to them, and can usually save about 20 people.
Spreading the Goodness of Dafa to Villages
One winter day in 2012, I went with two fellow practitioners to a nearby village to distribute wall calendars and other materials. We persuaded those we met along the way to quit the CCP. When we reached the village, we went from door to door delivering the materials and hanging calendars on door knobs.
At another village, we greeted an elderly lady by saying, “We've come to deliver good fortune to your family.” Happily, she accepted our materials.
Her son came outside and said, “Come in and rest for a while! Falun Gong practitioners are incredible, full of perseverance, I really admire all of you. I am willing to read the the materials, and thank you for delivering it!” I replied, “If you wish to thank someone, thank our Master, for he is the one who asked us to save you.” They escorted me and my fellow practitioner to the main door, and stood there waving until we disappeared from view.

In the autumn of 2012, my aunt's granddaughter got married. My husband and I packed a large quantity of various materials before setting off for my relative's home.
In such rural villages, residents normally chip in to help each other organize major activities. I approached a few women who were washing vegetables and asked, “Have you heard about the three withdrawals to guarantee your safety?” One of the young women exclaimed in shock, “You are a Falun Gong practitioner! It's not safe to talk about this. Just last year, 10 practitioners were arrested here.” Upon hearing her comments, several women left the group at once. Undeterred, I asked Master for support and sent forth righteous thoughts to eradicate all interfering factors.
As more guests arrived, I approached each one, table by table, to distribute truth clarification materials. Some did not dare to accept them out of fear, others lied and pretended to be illiterate. Again I sought Master's support, and continuously sent forth righteous thoughts to eradicate the evil preventing people from understanding the truth in this area.
Afterward I approached a new group of people and spoke to them about the facts of Falun Gong. Some asked for the materials, while three others agreed to quit the CCP. My confidence grew.
Then another vehicle arrived, delivering a dozen people to the celebration. I seized the opportunity and told them, “Welcome, our meeting here today must be predestined. Let me take this opportunity to deliver peace and good fortune to you.”
Everyone accepted a copy of the materials, and I also distributed cards with Falun Dafa symbols, as well as necklaces inscribed with lotus motifs and bearing the words “Falun Dafa is good.” Some women and children immediately hung these necklaces around their necks. Although only a few people agreed to quit the CCP, I hoped that everyone would read the materials and be saved.
As the guests settled down to eat, I started persuading the two women at my table to quit the CCP. They replied that they were both Christians, to which I replied, “All of us believe in the existence of God, but the Communist Party promotes atheism. With the mark of the CCP upon you, will your Lord still be able to accept you?"
At this point, my aunt's third daughter walked past and told them, “Quitting is good for you, I myself quit a long time ago.” The women thanked me and gave me their real names to quit the CCP.
Having concluded their meal, the guests started leaving. Two dozen guests boarded a large van. Standing beside the van was a middle-aged man holding a truth clarification leaflet in his hand. He approached me, and asked if I could give him the second part of a CD which he had picked up from the front yard. I took two copies from my bag and handed them to him.
He exclaimed delightedly, “Finally I have found it.” At this point, the passengers in the van began asking for copies of materials. I passed a Falun Dafa symbol to the driver who said, “Someone persuaded me to quit the CCP much earlier.”
Another man told me, “I fully support Dafa. Give me all the materials in your bag, and I will help you distribute them when I get back home to my relatives.” Thus I handed over all my remaining leaflets to him. The other passengers then shouted to him, “Please pass me a copy.”
The van started to drive off as its passengers waved and shouted, “Thank you.” I loudly replied, “Remember, Falun Dafa is good and your entire family will receive peace and blessings.” Thank you Master for the moving experience!
Finding Practitioners Who Have Given Up Practicing
Master said,“If you don't take action to save sentient beings, you will not have fulfilled your responsibility as a Dafa disciple and your cultivation will amount to nothing, for your becoming a Dafa disciple was not for the sake of your own Consummation. This means that you shoulder a monumental mission.” (“Fa Teaching at the 2009 Washington DC International Fa Conference”)
My husband and I started searching for former practitioners who had given up the practice, and two of them have resumed practicing Dafa. One was a 70-year-old practitioner who had given up cultivation due to family issues. My husband and I undertook the responsibility of delivering Master's latest lectures to her, and eventually she resumed practicing.
Another female practitioner had obtained the Fa before the persecution began. Earlier she had diligently participated in truth clarification and persuading people to quit the CCP, but she had stopped participating so actively in recent years. I gave her a copy of Master's “20th Anniversary Fa Teaching” and told her, “We are Fa-rectification period Dafa disciples. We should keep up with the progress of Fa-rectification and try to study it well.” After we talked she would occasionally persuade people to quit the CCP.
Her son obtained a place in a university this year, and she threw a banquet at a restaurant to celebrate. After discussing with fellow practitioners, we decided to take this opportunity to save sentient beings and worked our way through all three floors of the restaurant, clarifying the truth and handing out leaflets from table to table. Some took our materials, while others refused. We also stationed ourselves besides the main doors as the guests were preparing to leave, distributing leaflets and managing to persuade another 10 people to quit the Party.
This incident greatly moved and inspired this female practitioner, and she agreed to participate in our Fa study group once her son started school.
Diligently Studying the Fa Is the Foundation for Doing the Three Things Well
No matter how busy we get, fellow practitioners and I make sure our afternoons are spent clarifying the truth to people. Mornings are spent in group Fa study, and at night after finishing the housework, I study Master's various lectures and read Minghui Weekly.
I have encountered many different reactions from people in the course of clarifying the truth. Some people would praise and thank us gratefully, others would ridicule, insult, and threaten and report us to the police. Last year I met a man in his thirties. I handed him a copy of the material, and said, “Remember, Falun Dafa is good.” He immediately caught my hand and said, “Let's go. I am handing you over to the police.” I said, “Don't do such an evil deed.”
I asked Master for assistance in eliminating the evil factors behind this person, withdrew my hand from his grip and turned to leave, focusing my thoughts on making him stay where he stood. Looking back, I saw him squatting on the ground motionless, holding the leaflet in his hand. I stood behind a car and sent forth righteous thoughts. He remained squatting for another 10 minutes, before I told him to stand up. He slowly stood up, as though awakening from a deep sleep.
Another time I met a plainclothes police officer. I greeted him and asked him to quit the CCP. With a heavy expression on his face he asked me, “Do you know what I do for a living?” As he spoke, he started to pull out his official identification pass.
I replied, “You need not show this to me. Even if you are from the police, I still have the responsibility of saving your life.” He gestured at me to go and said, “Leave quickly, and be careful next time.”

My daughter and her family decided to drop by for lunch one Sunday. On my way home from grocery shopping, I saw an unfamiliar, decent looking middle-aged man standing by the roadside. Thinking he was from another town, I quickly put away my purchases, and with my truth clarification materials, quickly approached him while asking Master for help to save this person.
I approached this man and greeted him. He told me that his wife and son were at a local temple. As the road was undergoing repairs, he was unable to drive and was standing there waiting for their return.
I told him about how the Communist Party caused the death of more than 80 million Chinese in the course of their political campaigns. Now they have moved on to persecute Falun Gong practitioners, who are good people following the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.
He exclaimed, “You are a Falun Gong practitioner!” I replied yes. He said, “I have some understanding of your situation. Just concentrate on practicing your exercises and avoid participating in politics.”
I sent forth righteous thoughts to eradicate the evil factors behind him, and said, “This persecution started as a result of the Party's jealousy towards Falun Gong. Currently, Falun Gong has spread to over a hundred countries. Falun Gong books have been translated into more than 30 different languages. This practice teaches people to to adhere to the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. Isn't it good for people's moral standards to improve? Nowadays, natural disasters are occurring more frequently due to the decline of society's moral standards. This is a warning from heaven. Greater disasters will be unleashed on mankind if people refuse to change for the better!”
I explained to him the reason for quitting the CCP. “We are responsible for saving sentient beings. Even if you are a millionaire or multi-millionaire, your wealth cannot be taken with you, and remains behind after your death.” He then asked me, “How much education did you receive?” I replied that I did not receive much education, but these facts were relayed to me by my Master. He gave me his real name, along with his son's, and said, “Please help us to quit the CCP.” He further mentioned that he was the main legal representative for a major company.
I told him, “May your family receive blessings and peace. May your son obtain a place in a university.” In return, he thanked me profusely.
This was the longest time I spent clarifying the truth, and the entire time, the words flowed smoothly from my mouth. Once again I received Master's help! Dafa gave me the wisdom to clarify the truth. It was 11:00 pm by the time I returned home. My husband had prepared some simple food, and when my daughter arrived she told me, “Just prepare fewer dishes and spend less time on daily chores. We are not fussy about what we eat.” My family members have offered their full support in my efforts to clarify the truth and save sentient beings. It is exactly as Master mentioned,
“Compassion is an enormous energy, the energy of righteous gods. The more compassion that is present, the greater this energy becomes, and it can disintegrate anything that is bad.” (“Fa Teaching at the 2009 Washington DC International Fa Conference”)
My fellow practitioners and I have experienced numerous situations over the course of our cultivation. Recalling the many tribulations we faced along our way while helping Master validate the Fa, along with the hardships we experienced, we understand that all we have endured is negligible compared to the indescribable burden esteemed Master must bear for us.
