(Minghui.org) I am a roadside small shop owner. Our location is excellent and our business is booming. People from as far as 10 miles away know that my wife and I practice Falun Gong. This equates to us being honest, selling good products and never cheating anyone. Many people come to shop at our store. We also have a lot of distributors who deliver their products to us.
Nowadays, there are a lot of poor quality goods flooding the market. They seem to be everywhere, and are often difficult to distinguish from the good products. My wife and I clarify the truth to whoever comes to deliver products to us. We try our best to persuade them to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). In fact, those who come here to deliver their goods must quit the CCP before we accept their delivery.
One day we had a young man come in with a new brand of milk to sell. Nowadays, the demand for dairy products is very stagnant. Except for holidays, even brand names were not selling well. These brand name companies often swamp the market with their special promotions in order to attract customers, leaving little or no room for new brands to grasp a share of the market. This young man looked well-educated.
He was very polite when he came in the store, and said “hello sir, madam. Then he went on to tell us about a new brand of milk. He said the taste was as good as the name brands, and the price was fair. He wanted to give us a carton to try. If we liked it, his hope was that we would do business with him. My wife said she was not interested, and I explained that milk just wasn't selling well. He was persistent and said the first delivery would be free. He further explained "Let's give it a try, If it doesn't sell, I will come pick it up and take it away."
I could tell this was an honest and sincere young man. I asked him his name. “My last name is Zhao.” I continued, “have you ever heard of quitting the CCP?” He looked surprised and said, “No, sir, please explain. I asked, “Are you a member of the CCP?” He said, "Yes, I am a member.”
With no customers that needed help, it was the perfect time to talk to him about Falun Gong. I explained about the CCP and why they persecute Falun Gong. Then I explained how important it was for everyone to quit the Party, and I explained the benefits of saying 'Falun Dafa is good and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.' I took out a copy of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and gave it to him. “Make time to read this book. You will greatly benefit from it.”
The young man patiently listened to everything I said to him. He shook my hand, and said "yes sir, I understand, the CCP is a wicked entity, I wish to quit, can you help me?" I told him he could use his real name or a made up one, and it didn't matter as long as he quit it from his heart. Without hesitation, he said, “I will use my real name.” I immediately held his hand, “Great! Congratulations. You will be blessed. You will do well in your business.” He said, “yes sir, thank you!”
I said to my wife, “This is a good young man. Let's give him a chance and take five cases from him for now.” She agreed, and the young man thanked us for our support.
Two weeks later, he returned. He looked around the store and said in surprise, “sir, all the milk sold!” I happily replied, “yes, who would have believed a new brand of milk could sell so easily! Have you been saying 'Falun Dafa is good?” He said, “yes sir, ever since you helped me quit the CCP, I've been repeating 'Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good' everyday. I've also been reading the book you gave me. After I quit the CCP, my business has been growing incredibly.
In the past, I struggled to sell a few cases of milk a day. Now, I sell a truckload in less than a day.” I told him, “You are blessed by Dafa for quitting the CCP. Now you should ask your friends, family, and customers to quit as well. You will be blessed even more.” The young man said, “I believe you with all my heart.”
When he returned with another delivery, he had with him another honest young man who was his cousin. His cousin read the 'Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party' and he too was anxious to quit the CCP. His cousin worked in town and was only available that day.
I was touched by his sincerity and trust in a Falun Dafa disciple. I shook his hand, and said “you will be blessed.” I then explained that you don't have to come to me in person if you want to quit the CCP. But the young man said that this was such a serious matter, and they wanted to come here in person to quit.
When the young man came back with his next delivery he took out a list of names of people who would like to withdraw from the CCP. Then he said, “sir, let me tell you some good news. I was at the very bottom of the list of salesmen in my company. Now, I am at the top of the list. Everyone in my company is surprised at my success. They were all amazed. The supervisor asked me to tell the others how I became so successful.” So I asked him, “What did you tell them?”
I didn't say very much until later, in private. Then I told him everything. I told him about the couple who practiced Falun Dafa that I met trying to sell them milk. I explained that they helped me to quit the CCP and to say 'Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good' and that they had been giving me truth-clarification materials to read. In the end, my supervisor was amazed and asked me to give him the truth-clarification materials, so he could read them.
According to this young man, not only did his supervisor read the materials, but he asked all the other employees in the company to read them.
I was moved by his story. Currently Xiao Zhao has moved from the top salesperson city-wide to the provincial level within just four years. This is an example of how people are blessed for their support of Falun Dafa.
