(Minghui.org) A relative of mine recently came to town to see a doctor. He lives in a remote mountainous area that is difficult to reach due to lack of transportation. There is also no Internet access or television reception.
I asked if he had ever received any information about Falun Gong, and he answered that he had. I was surprised. He sensed that I didn't really believe him, so he said, “I've received paper currency bills with messages about Falun Gong and the persecution written on them.”
I then asked if people there read the messages, and what were their reactions. He replied, “Of course. We are interested in news and like to see what is written on the bills. We were surprised when we first saw the bills with Falun Gong messages. When the messages were later stamped on the bills, several people thought the words were printed when the money was being produced because the words were in color. Many call it 'Falun Gong money.'”
“This is a great way to convey the facts. The words can't be removed, and the money travels everywhere. Actually, some of the currency received at banks also has messages written on them. Many people know that Falun Gong is here to save people, so they want to make sure their opportunity to be saved is open.”
Bills with Falun Gong messages and well wishes written on them can be also given as gifts at weddings or birthdays. I usually buy a nice card, write good wishes appropriate to the event, and include Falun Gong amulets, Shen Yun DVDs, or paper money with truth-clarification messages. My relatives and friends know that I am a practitioner, so whenever I give them a gift, they say, “I know what's inside is good fortune. Thank you very much.”
I once used bills with Falun Gong messages to pay for some lamb. When the seller took the money, she laughed and said, “You don't need to say anything. I understand what it's all about.”
Another time, I used the bills to buy eggs. The new owner of the shop read the words out loud and commented on the meaning. All the other customers in the shop heard him clearly. When no one was around, he told to me that he was a practitioner and the former owner was his relative. He took over the shop so he could tell customers the facts about Falun Gong.
