(Minghui.org) Romanian Falun Gong practitioners held a rally in Plumbuita Park in Bucharest, Romania, on July 13, 2014, to protest the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) persecution of Falun Gong.
Romanians sign the petition to protest the persecution of Falun Gong in China
Next to the park entrance, the practitioners held banners that condemned the CCP's atrocity of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. They protested the regime's persecution of the practice.
Park visitors signed the petition to end the persecution after learning the facts. Many said it was an unprecedented crime. When people read the poster boards, the crimes in China reminded them of similar crimes in their country 25 years ago. The communist regime in Romania also used to torture, beat, starve, abuse, brainwash, and tell lies to maintain power.
Man, a former political prisoner, said, “The CCP is, without question, brutal. They kill Falun Gong practitioners for their organs, a crime of unprecedented magnitude.”
Nae Ion, an electrical engineer, expressed his sympathy for Falun Gong practitioners. He said indignantly, “Falun Gong practitioners do not harm anyone. The CCP's persecution of these people indicates just how idiotic the Party is.”
Mr. Marian and his wife, Florentina Crăciun, brought their 6-year-old daughter for a walk in the park. They signed the petition after reading an informational flyer. Mr. Marian said, “If possible, we would sign a few more times. It has significant meaning, even though the chance of ending the persecution with signatures is slight.”
Mr. Constantin Popa is an aviation engineer. He said, “I respect Chinese people and their traditions. But the desire for power makes communists go to extremes. They'll do anything to reach their goals. Their crime of live organ harvesting for lucrative profit is downright horrible.”
