(Minghui.org) Mr. Zheng Xufei was explaining the facts about Falun Gong and the persecution near a bus stop in Rushan City on July 11, 2014, when four police officers forced him to the ground. His mouth immediately filled with blood. They dragged him into a police car and took him to the Rushan Detention Center where he was reportedly handcuffed and shackled.
No Freedom of Speech in China
There is no freedom of speech in China under the control of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), and people are illegally arrested for telling people what the CCP doesn't want them to hear.
Mr. Zheng Starts Practicing Falun Gong
Mr. Zheng Xufei, 37, is a physical education teacher at the Xiachu Town Elementary School in Rushan City, Shandong Province.
Mr. Zheng received information about Falun Gong at the end of 2011. He learned what he had previously heard about Falun Gong was totally slanderous lies spread by the CCP. He was able to break through the Internet blockade and read Falun Gong books online.
He realized that Falun Gong teaches people to be kind, to become a better person, and to return to one's original nature of goodness. He knew that this was the truth that he had been searching for. He was unflinching in his resolve to practice Falun Gong despite the persecution and the unjust treatment of practitioners by the CCP.
Mr. Zheng strictly follows the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, even though he hasn't practiced very long. He treats people gently, calmly and compassionately, and doesn't argue with others.
Mr. Zheng likes to share the mental and physical benefits he has received from Falun Gong with the elders and other villagers in Rushan. He hopes that they will understand the truth about Falun Gong, and not be deceived and dragged down by the lies spread by the CCP. He wants them to have a glorious future. He has ignored his personal safety, so that others might benefit.
Mr. Zheng's Wife Chose Divorce Out of Fear
The CCP has brutally persecuted Falun Gong practitioners for over a decade. Mr. Zheng's wife feared their daughter and her would be involved and persecuted if Mr. Zheng didn't give up practicing Falun Gong. She finally chose divorce to avoid being persecuted. Out of consideration for his wife and daughter, Mr. Zheng only took his clothes and moved to an apartment.
