(Minghui.org) Ms. Tian Haiying, a Falun Gong practitioner from Jiujiang County, Jiangxi Province, was arrested on June 10, 2014, and her case documentation has been delivered to the Jiujiang County Court.
Ms. Tian is currently being held in the Jiujiang Detention Center, where she has held hunger strikes to protest her imprisonment and mistreatment. Her physical condition is very poor, and she has displayed various symptoms, including hypertension, rapid heartbeat, gallstones, and swelling.
Repeatedly Sentenced to Forced Labor
Ms. Tian has been arrested and placed in forced labor camps several times since the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) began persecuting Falun Gong.
She was arrested and tortured in a forced labor camp in June 2001. She was arrested by officers Li Jianhua, Rao Hongyan, and Fang Shouwei from the Political and Security Division of the County Police Department. Shortly after that, she was transferred to Majialong Forced Labor Camp in Jiujiang City where she was held for two years.
Ms. Tian was arrested by officers from the county police department for the second time on July 9, 2004, and sent to the Majialong Forced Labor Camp in Jiujiang for two years, where she was tortured. Captain Qu and officer Liu Junping ordered drug addicts to torture her, and hit her on the lips with bamboo sticks.
Before her release in August 2006, her husband, Gui Xunlu, divorced her. He took all their belongings. When she was released, she was penniless and homeless.
Ms. Tian was arrested for the third time by police from the Xunyang County Police Department and Jiujiang County Police Department on November 20, 2009. She was tortured in the Domestic Security Division, the Detention Center and the, Women's Forced Labor Camp of Jiangxi.
Guards gave her only thin clothing to wear during the cold winter. She was handcuffed and shackled to a death bed torture device, and her waist restrained with a steel chain. A tube was inserted into her nose, causing her to almost suffocate. The pain from the torture was indescribable. She was not released from the death bed for eating or using the restroom for several days, actually until one of the handcuffs broke.

Ms. Tian was transferred to the Women's Forced Labor Camp of Jiangxi Province where she was tortured in late 2009. She was tied to a bed there for three days, around the clock, and force-fed.
