(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 13 cities or counties in 10 provinces. According to this report, 16 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 13 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Yan'an City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Jiang Yan and Ms. Liu Wei Sentenced
Ms. Jiang Yan and Ms. Liu Wei were arrested on January 2, 2014 for distributing Shen Yun DVDs. After the Baota District Court held a secret trial in July, Ms. Jiang was sentenced to three years in prison, and Ms. Liu one and a half years. It is believed they were taken to the Shaanxi Province Women's Prison.
2. [Yan'an City, Shaanxi Province] Mr. Cao Huashan Arrested
Mr. Cao Huashan was arrested on July 25, 2014. It was reported that Mr. Zao was taken to the Zhuanyaowan Detention Center on July 26, 2014. Mr. Zao has been on a hunger strike to protest the persecution. He was taken to the hospital.
3. [Kunshan City, Jiangsu Province] Two Elderly Practitioners Ms. Wang Zhifang and Ms. Wang Yiqing Detained
Ms. Wang Yiqing, 69, and Ms. Wang Zhifang, 67, were arrested on the morning of August 26, 2014 for telling people the facts about Falun Gong. The police searched their homes in Yushan Town. Both practitioners are being held in the Kunshan Detention Center.
4. [Beijing] Mr. Guan Yingshan's Entire Family Arrested
The police broke into Mr. Guan Yingshan's home and arrested his entire family on July 17, 2014. The officers took a computer, printer, Falun Dafa books and other personal belongings. The family was being held in the Chaoyang Detention Center. The daughter has been released on bail. The parents remain in custody.
5. [Chenxi County, Hunan Province] Ms. He Xiaoling Detained
Ms. He Xiaoling was arrested on February 26, 2014, and held in the County Detention Center. Recently, the County Procuratorate, on the grounds of insufficient evidence, returned her paperwork back to the State Security Division to fill in more details.
6. [Qixia City, Shandong Province] Mr. Liu Guoai and Mr. Zhang Lin Detained
Mr. Liu Guoai and Mr. Zhang Lin remained in custody at the Qixia City Detention Center.
7. [Nanyang City, Henan Province] Ms. Zhou Yinmei Detained
Ms. Zhou Yinmei, who works at the Meixi Tax Agency, was arrested at her office by officers from the Nanyang City Criminal Police Division in early August 2014. She is being held in the Nanyang City Detention Center.

8. [Kangping County, Liaoning Province] Three Practitioners Arrested
Ms. Feng Xili, Ms. Gao Genying and Ms. Jia Shukun were arrested by officers from the Haizhou Police Station on the evening of August 30, 2014.

9. [Shaodong County, Hunan Province] Ms. Wang Guilian Taken to Brainwashing Center
Ms. Wang Guilian was taken to the Shaoyang City Brainwashing Center on August 4, 2014.
10. [Yushu City, Jilin Province] Ms. Li Yanhui Arrested Again
Officers from the Yushu Domestic Security Division arrested Ms. Li Yanhui at her home. She was held in the Yushu Detention Center for five days.
11. [Anshan City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Zhu Zuohai and Ms. Wang Guizhi Arrested
Mr. Zhu Zuohai's daughter went home on the morning of August 30, 2014 and found that her father was not at home. When she went to the Dongchangdian Police Station to look for him, she was told that her father and Ms. Wang Guizhi were arrested on August 11, 2014.
12. [Langfang City, Hebei Province] Mr. Liang Chunsheng's Entire Family Arrested
Mr. Liang Chunsheng, his wife Ms. Zhang Xiuhua, their daughter Xiaofang, son-in-law Mr. Wang, and granddaughter (family of five) and Ms. Zhang Jie were arrested for distributing Shen Yun DVDs and informational materials about Falun Gong on the morning of August 30, 2014. Mr. Liang and his granddaughter were released. Ms. Zhang Xiuhua, Xiaofang, Mr. Wang and Ms. Zhang Jie remained in custody at the Gu'an County Detention Center.
13. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Four Practitioners Sentenced
Ms. Mao Shuzhen, from the Longsha District, was sentenced to five years in prison. She is on medical parole. Ms. Shi Yuxia and Ms. Wu Guijing were sentenced to four years in prison. Ms Wang Jinying, sentenced to three years in prison, is now on medical parole.
14. [Shaoguan City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Fu Chiying Arrested and Missing
Ms. Fu Chiying, who works at the Shaoguan Iron and Steel Group Corporation, was arrested on the evening of August 29, 2014. Her whereabouts are unknown.
