(Minghui.org) After hearing about a reunion in a park held by local Chinese-Canadians from the same province in China, four older Toronto Falun Gong practitioners decided to go there and tell them about Falun Gong. None of these practitioners were from that province, but as one of them explained, “We will go there and give it a try. They have been deceived by the communist party for a long time and need to know the facts. This is important for them. Although we are not from that province, we are all from China.”

After taking a train and then a bus, they arrived at the park. These four practitioners walked for a while and found themselves lost. They continued walking and saw a number of young Chinese people having a picnic.

By talking with these young people, the practitioners learned that they were students from China who came to Canada for college. One student said to them, “This park is very big. How about you jump in my car and I'll take you where you need to go?” The practitioners thanked him and asked if he and his companions had joined any organizations related to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). After learning about the current genocide being perpetrated by the CCP, all of these students quit the CCP’s Youth League and Young Pioneers to separate themselves from the Party. They also thanked the practitioners for telling them.

By then, a lady in her mid-30s came by, also looking for the reunion. They chatted for a while and she quit the CCP as well after learning what had happened.

As the practitioners continued walking, they met a Chinese family who were having a barbecue. The family offered them some grilled beef. The practitioners thanked them and accepted some water from them. Later, the entire family also quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations after talking with the practitioners.

On the way to the reunion, these practitioners also encountered another lady, who not only showed them the way to go, but also quit the CCP.

When they arrived at the right place, the reunion was almost over and some people were ready to leave. Group after group, these practitioners told them all about how many bad things the CCP had done to harm the Chinese people through violence and propaganda. One example was the staged self-immolation incident at Tiananmen Square to defame Falun Gong. After hearing about the brutal persecution against innocent Falun Gong practitioners, including live organ harvesting, most of them agreed to the quit the CCP.

One of them seemed reluctant to talk with the practitioners or listen to them. After other people left, practitioners talked with him alone as he went to his car. In the end, he also quit the CCP and thanked the practitioners.

When everyone had gone, the practitioners did not know where to go. At that point, a Chinese lady drove by in an SUV. She gave them a ride to the subway station and bade them farewell.
