(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners held a “Great Wall of Truth,” holding banners and standing side-by-side along the sidewalks, along with a signature drive event, at Campsie, a city known for its concentration of office buildings and shopping malls, southwest of Sydney, on August 24, 2014. People expressed their support for Falun Gong, and over 50 Chinese people joined the movement to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations during the event.

Many residents who viewed the display boards and banners found it incredibly cruel, and signed the petition form calling for an end to the CCP's systematic forced organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners. Some asked what more they could do to help Falun Gong.
A man in a red plaid shirt signed the petition, picked up a special edition newspaper with a collection of reports about the persecution of Falun Gong in China, and talked to several Falun Gong practitioners. He said he had been aware of the persecution for many years, as he had seen Falun Gong practitioners peacefully protesting near the Chinese Consulate. He praised the practitioners' efforts in reaching out to the public, and said more people should learn about the persecution and help to end it as soon as possible.
More than 50 Chinese people registered their withdrawals from the CCP and its affiliated organizations during the three-hour event. Some other Chinese people said they had already done so through the Quitting the CCP Service Centers, locally or in nearby cities.
There were also some Chinese who at first denied being members of the Communist Party or its affiliated organizations, but then decided to quit the CCP after learning the facts about the persecution. A Chinese woman visiting her child in Sydney was one of them.
She walked by a banner and stopped to take a closer look. Ms. Xiuqing, a Falun Gong practitioner holding the banner, asked her, “Have you quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations?”
“I am not a member of any of them,” she answered.
Xiuqin told her the story of the woman pictured on the banner, Ms. Gao Rongrong, whose face was disfigured from electric baton torture in Chinese jail, and who later died in police custody.
Appearing deeply moved, the woman asked Xiuqin about the “Self-immolation Incident on Tiananmen Square” and the organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners.
Xiuqin showed her some pictures on another banner which explained that the so-called “self-immolation” was merely a massive propaganda stunt, staged by the CCP to demonize Falun Gong.
Xiuqin told her that everyone has to pick a side between righteous and evil in the matter of Falun Gong practitioners being arrested, tortured, and even having their organs taken while they were still alive, simply for upholding their belief in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.
The woman agreed and decided to quit the Young Pioneers (affiliated with the Chinese Communist Party) using an alias. She then took an informational flyer and began reading it.
