The Netherlands: Introducing Falun Gong at the Alkmaar Cheese Market

(Minghui.org) During the Alkmaar Cheese Market, a popular event in the Netherlands, practitioners displayed posters and distributed materials introducing Falun Gong on August 29 and 30, 2014. They also collected signatures calling for an end to the 15-year persecution of Falun Gong in China.

Exporting over 400,000 tons of cheese a year, Holland is the largest cheese exporter in the world. Alkmaar, a northern city well known for it cheese trade, draws more than 300,000 tourists every year.

Via posters and printed materials, local residents and tourists learned that Falun Gong has been suppressed in China for the past 15 years. Many signed a petition to stop the persecution, including the harvesting of organs from living practitioners.
