(Minghui.org) I am a mid-level bureaucrat who is responsible for coordinating administrative tasks for the Party in a particular work unit. I would like to share about my truth-clarification efforts at my workplace.
Helping People See the CCP For What it Truly Is
Once I understood the evil nature of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) for myself, I decided to become instrumental in helping others at my workplace to do the same. I refused to hold Party meetings and destroyed all Party publications that could poison people's minds about Falun Gong. I did not keep any of the books, newspapers and magazines distributed by the Party in my office, and thus cleansed my environment.
Poisoned and brainwashed by years of Party indoctrination, some newcomers who just graduated from college wanted to join the Party in hope of gaining some political prestige, or to obtain an official position in the future. They actively sought to get closer to the Party.
I am determined to keep anyone out of the Party's clutches. I wasted no time in telling these people about the true nature of the Party.
Helping Colleagues Understand the Truth
Three college students were assigned to my workplace. I began to clarify the truth to them separately. My mindset was not stable at first. In the process of clarifying the truth to the first, I was not compassionate. The effect was not good, because he thought that I was trying to impose my ideas on him. I did not know whether he had watched the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party CD that I gave him, but he did report me to my manager for giving it to him. Fortunately, I had already talked to my manager about the Party and the persecution of Falun Gong, and he allowed me to continue.
I immediately looked inside, and discovered many attachments. I was not able to clarify the facts effectively with all kinds of attachments. I later asked Master to provide me with an opportunity to talk about the practice to this individual.
I did get the chance to talk to him some time after he had moved to another work unit. I explained that Falun Dafa is now welcome in more than 100 countries worldwide. I sincerely wished the best for him, so I would try to help him distinguish between right and wrong, and between good and bad. Additionally, I hoped that he can believe and remember that “Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” He was touched by the compassion and kindness of a Dafa practitioner and thanked me.
When I talked to the second new colleague, my mind was more stable. He withdrew from the Party and its related organizations, but later rejoined. He told me that he did not believe in the Party, but his relatives told him that he needed to join the Party so that he can get promoted in the future. I was heartbroken. Fortunately, he had some initial understanding of Dafa. I now will need to further tell him the facts, awaken his true self, and resolve the problem that is holding him back.
The third new colleague to join my work unit was a probationary member of the Party. When his material was delivered to me, I saw some remarks that slandered Dafa in his file. I destroyed it without hesitation.
A new manager was assigned to my unit. Although I had not talked to him about Falun Dafa in the past, I think he knew that I was a practitioner. When he talked to me for the first time, I told him that I practice Falun Dafa. He responded that it would be good if everyone would practice it. I believe he agrees that Dafa is good and Dafa practitioners are good people.
Later, the unit recruited two college students. One day, the manager told me, “I will talk to them first, and then you tell them the principles of Falun Dafa to teach them to be good people.”
I realized that Master was helping me to continue my work, to validate the Fa, to eliminate evil and to save sentient beings.
Taking Fame Lightly
Corruption is rampant in today's China, and it exists in all workplaces. Many people are desperate to use their power at work to make money, resulting in the deterioration of social values. Everyone considers money to be of the most importance and fights against each other. Precious family relationships and friendship are pushed aside and replaced by selfishness and coldness.
Before practicing Falun Data, I also was mainly interested in self-interest. I remember in the early nineties, when I performed purchases on behalf of the unit, I was very good at negotiating and using convenient payment conditions for personal gain. At that time, I felt I was very capable. As an intellectual individual, not only did I not feel shameful for corrupting social values, but felt proud for being good at taking bribes.
After I started practicing Falun Dafa, I realized the existence of the universal principles, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, also understood why people live, and how people should live by Dafa's principles. I looked inward and found a lot of attachments, such as pursuing fame and profit, complaining, jealousy and being argumentative. Gradually, I assimilated to the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, and worked diligently on turning into an unselfish and noble person, someone who considers others first.
I take fame and gain lightly at work despite having excellent professional and technical skills and could use my position for personal profit. I follow the principles of Falun Dafa strictly, work hard on letting go of fame, gain, sentiment and other attachments. I strive to practice the Fa truths, Truthfulness-Compassion- Forbearance. I don't take advantage of customers, but provide good service and refuse bribes.
People wonder why I do not accept bribes, since the practice is so widespread. I tell them that as a practitioner of Falun Dafa, I follow its guiding principles. Thus, they better understood the real truth of the persecution and recognize the evil nature of the CCP.
I following the guidance of Dafa, and constantly try be a good person. I have changed in my heart from a very selfish to an unselfish person, who thinks of others first. I even helped my colleagues, in letting go more and more fame and gain.
