(Minghui.org) I am a technician. Wherever I work, I talk to people about Falun Gong, giving them a chance to experience the compassion of practitioners from what I say and how I behave.
I went to work for a private company in late March 2013. After two or three days, I started to talk to Wang, the CEO, about Falun Gong.
I gave him Falun Gong informational materials, including Zhuan Falun, a Shen Yun Performing Arts DVD, a copy of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, and software to access overseas websites that are blocked in China.
A few days later, Wang asked me to make a copy of the same materials for a Party secretary he knew. Wang had already talked about Falun Gong with his relatives and friends.
He said, “I would like to share something with you. Before you came to work here, I had trouble sleeping and was often restless. Since you've arrived, I have really calmed down. I can now sleep well every night. It seems that, while protecting you, your master is also protecting me. This is really extraordinary.”
Before our company engaged in a joint operation took place, Bai, another CEO, carried out an inspection of the project. At the dinner table, Bai talked about how to make money and how to enjoy erotic services. He even asked Wang, the owner of the company, to arrange sexual services for him.
My boss looked embarrassed and told Bai, “One of our employees here is a Falun Gong practitioner. He would refuse to do anything like that.” Bai did not like what he heard and said some unpleasant things. It made me realize that this man was a victim who had been deceived and needed help.
Bai and I shared the same room. Because the project required it, I had to do some research with him. I told everyone, including Bai, how one cultivates Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance at work. When everyone adheres to those values, the result is that Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is reflected in our work and in our lives.
Bai finally asked, “Why do people like you and so many engineers, doctors, professors, and intellectuals follow your master? Your master is powerful. How does he brainwash all of you?”
This was a clear sign that I had to talk to him about Falun Gong in more depth.
I said, “Falun Gong teaches people to be good and to follow the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. When these principles are absorbed and fill a person's mind, people will be kind to each other, become healthy, peaceful, open-minded, and moral. Society will become better and moral standards will improve.”
I reminded him that Falun Gong harms no one and that untold numbers of people have become healthy after practicing it. Because they have benefited from, respect, and believe in Falun Gong, they spread the news by word of mouth.
I also told him that Jiang Zemin, the former head of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), began the persecution Falun Gong out of jealousy. I explained the peaceful demonstration on April 25, 1999; the Tiananmen self-immolation hoax; and the crimes of the CCP, such as removing organs from living Falun Gong practitioners for profit.
When Bai said goodbye to me, he said, “By working with you, I learned your views and got to see how you deal with things at work and in life. You have made me appreciate the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, and I will have to look at Falun Gong with new eyes.”
He admitted that he had misunderstood Master Li and Falun Gong in the past.
“Your master is really great that so many capable professionals believe in him and follow him. It is really amazing! I will look for Falun Gong books and read them. I hope to have another opportunity to work with you in the future.”
Before he left, I told him to recite sincerely, “Falun Gong is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” when he ran into problems.
