(Minghui.org) I agree with many points described in the article “Cultivation Issues During Fa-rectification.” In fact, some local practitioners discussed these topics back in 2012.
The article began with, “I felt uneasy when writing this article as I saw many fellow practitioners get depressed and fall far short of Master Li's requirements during Fa-rectification, reducing the number of sentient beings saved.”
My understanding is that some practitioners study the Fa, do the exercises, and send forth righteous thoughts at home, and due to their human notions, are reluctant to step forward and tell others the facts about Falun Gong. Their reasons may be self-protection, or thinking that some everyday people are not worth saving, as mentioned in the article.
I think these problems come from fear, selfishness, and the attachment to comfort.
Difficult to Help When Cultivation Shortchanged
Master told us to do the three things well. If we just do two of them, can we still be called Dafa disciples? We all know that Master is very compassionate, and he has sacrificed tremendously for sentient beings, including you and me. In fact, as we have learned from Fa lectures, if Master had not assumed much of our karma, we would be unable to pass any tribulations. With that in mind, we really have no choice but to meet the requirements of the Fa-rectification.
More specifically, if we cannot save the people we agreed to in our prehistoric vows, we may not consummate and return with Master. In fact, sentient beings in our own dimension or those who are waiting for us to save them could be destroyed and not able to enter the new cosmos.
Many of the 1.4 billion Chinese people have joined the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations. But after more than ten years of talking to everyday people, fewer than 220 million have agreed to quit the CCP organizations.
There may be several reasons for this situation, as described in the above mentioned sharing article. One reason is that our overall focus on Fa-study is not sufficient, and this also includes me. Because of work and other things, we have less time for Fa-study. Even when reading Dafa books, some practitioners have difficulty concentrating, or become sleepy. This creates loopholes for the old forces. As a result, we may get even busier and encounter more interference.
We know that Master has boundless power and compassion. But when a person chooses not to cultivate diligently, it is very difficult for others to help him or her.
Improving as One Body
There are several reasons why we are not diligent. This includes poor Fa-study, lack of righteous thoughts, following “no second cultivation way,” and the attachment of fear. On the one hand, we may hope that the Fa-rectification will end soon, and on the other hand, we may slack off in saving sentient beings, using the excuse of “they may not be worthy of saving.”
Master is saving not only us, but all sentient beings. Therefore, we should not just think about ourselves and be selfish. Only when we do all three things well can we fulfill our mission as Falun Gong disciples.
In the article mentioned above, the author said that only a small number of practitioners are doing the three things well. I hope that these practitioners will share their experiences and remind others to do the same. By helping and improving as one body, we will be able to do things well.
Persecution is the Calamity Mentioned by Nostradamus
There are many prophecies published in everyday society. For example, Nostradamus mentioned a calamity in 1999. Many people assumed that this would be a major natural disaster or another world war.
In fact, the calamity may be the persecution of Falun Gong. Jiang Zemin and his regime will ultimately be held responsible for a large number of people not being saved. Many of them have even maligned Dafa’s principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. These people are in real danger.
With so many people deceived by the CCP, if we practitioners are not diligent as one body, a large number of these people will have no future.
Lawsuits Against Jiang Zemin Tells People About the Persecution
Suing Jiang is an example. Because of safety concerns over material production sites, and my preferring to clarify telling facts about Falun Gong to people face to face, I did not join in this effort. When another practitioner asked me about it, I told him my concerns. He did not say much, but asked me to give it a second thought.
When thinking it through, I noticed my attachments, one being fear, and another being worry for my two children who just started college. Who would support them if something happened to me? The third is that I did not realize that the lawsuits against Jiang were another way of letting people know about the persecution.
I finally went to the Supreme People's Procuratorate website and reported Jiang's crimes. Upon seeing confirmation from the website, I knew in my heart that I had done the right thing.
I would therefore like to remind all practitioners to please be clear on what we are doing every day. There are many things that keep us busy, but nothing comes even close in importance to our mission in assisting Master's Fa-rectification.
