“You are the Chinese People’s Moral Pillars”
I went to a furniture store one day to buy things for my kitchen. The owner smiled at me and asked what I needed. While we were talking, two practitioners passed by. They stopped and came in to say hello. The store owner asked me if they were my friends.
When I told him that we are Falun Dafa practitioners, he said that they had talked to him about the persecution and advised him to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). He asked me if we had been arrested before, and was worried for our safety because we are elderly and go out to talk to people about Falun Dafa all the time.
One of the practitioners told him that many of us had been arrested because we raise awareness about the persecution. “We distribute informational materials about Falun Dafa so they can have a good future,” I added.
The store owner supported our efforts. “The police have no way to stop you,” he said. “You are the Chinese people's moral pillars!”
He told me that he looks at the Falun Dafa website using software to get around the CCP's firewall.
My Husband Offered to Help Practitioners Financially
I was in the kitchen early on November 11, 2015, when my husband suddenly called me. When I walked out he was holding a pile of money, and said, “Take it!”
He had tears in eyes, as he was trying to say something. With great emotion he said, “Give the money to those practitioners who are forced to stay away from home.”
I realized that he had been watching programs on New Tang Dynasty (NTD) television station and was moved by Falun Dafa practitioners' stories.
I have been practicing Falun Dafa for sixteen years and illegally arrested and detained three times. My home has been ransacked and my family harassed many times. My husband is not a practitioner and, under the intense atmosphere of the persecution, became afraid.
He tried to stop me from practicing and even burned my Falun Dafa books, but now he understands that Falun Dafa is a good practice and completely supports it and my efforts to raise awareness of the persecution.
He changed his attitude towards Falun Dafa after watching NTD. I installed the satellite dish to receive the NTD signal six years ago, and now my husband watches it every day. My six family members including my husband, son, daughter-in-law, grandson and daughter say they all appreciate the hard work that the staff at NTD do.
