(Minghui.org) As more and more Chinese people are made aware of the persecution of Falun Gong, many have shown support for Falun Gong practitioners. In the following stories, a police chief defies his superior to protect Falun Gong practitioners, an elderly man points out to local Falun Gong practitioners that they are not doing enough to spread the word, and calendars with Falun Gong information are being snatched up.
The local chief of police told a Falun Gong practitioner, “My superior told me to arrest Falun Gong practitioners because many of you have filed criminal complaints against Jiang Zemin. I ignored him and didn't do anything. Did you know that? Aren't you going to thank me?”
“Because I refused to arrest you all, my superior threatened to remove me from my post. I say, 'So be it!'” he added.
The practitioner assured him, “The gods know the good deeds you have done. You know the truth about Falun Gong and have treated practitioners well, and for that your children and their children will be blessed.”
A Falun Gong practitioner in Liaoning Province was advising an elderly man, Mr. Liu, to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party and its affiliated organizations. Mr. Liu happily agreed.
Then he said, “You are not doing as well as those [practitioners] in Jilin province. I saw posters and display boards about Falun Gong everywhere while visiting there!”
“People are watching us,” one practitioner said. “We need to work harder.”
A group of practitioners have recently prepared different sized 2016 calendars with information about Falun Gong and the persecution for distribution.
No matter where they pass the calendars out, people rush to get it. Some take it and read out loud “Falun Dafa is Good” and thank the practitioners.
One practitioner once had several dozen calendars with her, and people grabbed them in no time. “I have several sons,” one person said. “Please give me a few more.”
Another person said, “I have several brothers.”
“Why don't you give them all to me. I will help you distribute them,” another said. “I have many friends.”
Another time she was giving calendars to two bus drivers. They both grabbed her bag and a tug-of-war ensued. One said, “I have many in my family. Give them all to me!”
“I have many friends,” the other driver said. “I want them all!” The two finally agreed to the practitioner's suggestion to split them equally.
One day a middle-aged man took a calendar from her and said to people around him, “Come and see, nobody is arresting Falun Gong now! Jiang Zemin will be arrested soon!”
