(Minghui.org) Ms. Yin Yingchun has been illegally detained for more than six months. Her family has no idea what the authorities plan to do next, but they refuse to release her.
Ms. Yin is a Falun Gong practitioner from Fuxin City in Liaoning Province. She hung a banner about Falun Gong and the persecution at the Beishan Airport in Fumeng County on July 15, 2014. She was spotted and held by the military personnel stationed there, and they contacted the local Huadong Town Police Station.
The Huadong Town Police Station sent four officers to Xinzhu Community where Ms. Yin lives and illegally searched her home. Secretary Liu and Director Zhang from the community joined the search. They confiscated Falun Gong books, a cell phone, and miscellaneous personal items—they considered these items “evidence.”
Ms. Yin's family went to the Huadong Town Police Station on the afternoon of her arrest, and they demanded she be released. However, at that point, she had already been transferred to the detention center.
