March 1, 2015 |   By a Minghui correspondent from Anhui Province, China

(Minghui.org) “Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance is good. Mei Gang is evil and persecutes good people. Mei Gang gave the order for my arrest!” shouted Mr. Wang Xuebin, a 78-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner.

He struggled with police officers who had carried him down the stairs of his condo and tried to put him into a police car on December 24, 2014.

Neighbors heard his shouts and gathered around the car. They condemned the arrest attempt, and the officers had to release Mr. Wang.

The arrest was ordered by Mei Gang, secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Committee and director of the 610 Office in Yingzhou District, Fuyang, Anhui Province.

Some of the officers ransacked Mr. Wang's home while others guarded him outside the building. They confiscated Falun Gong books and materials, as well as cash and other belongings and refused to leave a receipt.

Mr. Wang had a good reputation. A road near his home had many cracks and flooded during a rain. He paved the road and always lent a hand when his friends and neighbors needed help.

Mei Gang Retaliates

Mei Gang is also responsible for the recent arrests of Ms. Fan Wenfang, in her 60s, and Ms. Zhang Suyun, in her 70s.

Mr. Wang appealed to Mei Gang for their release on December 18, 2014.
