(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 10 cities or counties in 8 provinces. According to this report, 5 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 7 were illegally arrested.

1. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Yan Jingyou and Ms. Wang Yalan Sentenced to Prison

Mr. Yan Jingyou was sentenced to four years in prison and his wife, Ms. Wang Yalan, to two years, with three years probation.

2. [Beichuan County, Sichuan Province] Mr. Jiang Libin Arrested

Mr. Jiang Libin was arrested by officers from the Beichuan County Police Department on March 30, 2015.

Mr. Jiang was arrested by officers from the Fucheng District Police Department in Mianyang City on September 27, 2009. He was sentenced to a three-year prison term with five years probation. He left his home for five years to avoid further persecution.

3. [Ruichang City, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Wang Jinying Detained

Ms. Wang Jinying was arrested by officers from the Pencheng Police Station of the Ruichang City Police Department on April 8, 2015, for posting Falun Gong informational materials. She is held at the Ruichang City Detention Center.

4. [Shanghai] Ms. Zhou Changxia Detained

Ms. Zhou Changxia was arrested on April 9, 2015, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She is now in the Pudongxin District Detention Center.

5. [Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Li Caixia Taken to Brainwashing Center

Ms. Li Caixia was arrested and taken to the Gulou District Brainwashing Center in late March 2015.

6. [Rong County, Guangxi Province] Two Practitioners Detained

Ms. Tan Qun and another practitioner were recently arrested and taken to a local detention center.

7. [Xinyi City, Jiangsu Province] Mr. Xu Hongbin Detained

Mr. Xu Hongbin from Xinyi City was arrested at work by officers from the Shanghai Police Station on April 3, 2015. He is held at the Pudong Detention Center.

8. [Laiyang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Dong Aifeng Imprisoned

Ms. Dong Aifeng was arrested by officers from Laiyang City in August 2014 and detained at the Yantai City No.1 Detention Center. She was sentenced to prison for three years and three months by the Yantai City Intermediate Court. She was taken to the Shandong Province No.1 Women's Prison on April 9, 2015.

9. [Jinyun County, Zhejiang Province] Ms. Hu Nanling Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Hu Nanling was sentenced to a three-and-a half-year prison term on April 8, 2015, and taken to Hangzhou Prison.

10. [Panjin City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Han Chonghui on Hunger Strike

Mr. Han Chonghui was arrested by officers from the Panjin City Domestic Security Division on December 10, 2014. He is now in the Panjing City Detention Center and is on a hunger strike to protest being persecuted.

11. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Yu Cuilan Tortured

Ms. Yu Cuilan was arrested and taken to a detention center in 2006. She was transferred to a police department hospital for medical treatment and then sentenced to a ten-year prison term. She was taken to Heizuizi Women's Prison.

She has been stretched on a bed, hung up, and handcuffed for long periods, among other forms of torture.
