(Minghui.org) I am a resident of Weifang City, Shandong Province, and work at a factory. I got injured at work in the summer of 1996. My back hurt so bad that I couldn't move and I was bedridden for seven days.
The doctor told me that I had protrusion of the lumbar disc and told me to rest at home. I couldn't afford to--our family finances didn't permit it. I continued to work, and my condition worsened. I had to have lumbar traction.
By that winter, my left leg was weak and numb. I went to see the doctor, but the treatment cost was so high that I had to give up. In pain every day, I had to drag my body to work.
A friend gave me a copy of the book Zhuan Falun in May 1997, and my back pain disappeared after I read it. When I finished the book on the third night, I realized that I had been sitting for a long time without any pain. That was inconceivable for me before. I was so happy. I truly experienced the power of reading the book.
All of my other ailments disappeared as well after I started to practice Falun Gong. Some of them had bothered me for years, such as severe hemorrhoids, a frozen shoulder, cervical spondylitis, gastritis, and an irregular heartbeat. I felt great! My body was healthy and my mind was at ease. I have not taken a single pill for over 10 years and have not taken any sick days at work.
