(Minghui.org) Ever since the national TV network SBS aired the documentary "Human Harvest," Falun Gong practitioners in Perth, Australia have continued to raise public awareness of the state-sanctioned killing of Falun Gong practitioners for their organs in China.
Many people signed the petition to condemn the crime and support Falun Gong's peaceful resistance, and several decided to quit the Chinese Communist Party after learning of the atrocities committed by the regime.

“Pure Evil”
After seeing the trailer for the documentary, Michael Bate could hardly believe that such a crime is taking place in the world today. “We cannot have this, because it's pure evil, it's insidious. It's beyond insidious. I don't have the words. Words cannot explain it,” he said.
Ms. Singleton asked if the Australian government is doing anything about it. A practitioner told her that, for economic reasons, among others, the government has yet to take real action.
Ms. Singleton then asked if England, her home country, is doing anything. The practitioner said no, but pointed out that Spain and Israel have passed laws banning travel to China for organ transplants. Singleton said the Australian government should do the same.
“It must be stopped. Please let me know what I can do,” she asked. The practitioner said that she could spread the word to let more people know about it.
Jonathan, a member of Amnesty International, told practitioners that he knew about the forced organ harvesting. “Many governments know about it, but they don't dare to say much for economic reasons. The international community is concerned about it.”
After signing the petition, Jonathan encouraged practitioners, “Let's fight together.”
Chinese Businessman Quits the Communist Party and Spreads the Word
A businessman well-known in the Chinese community stopped by the practitioners' booth. He agreed to quit the Chinese Communist Party and said that he knew about the persecution of Falun Gong from reading newspapers and the internet. He even helped practitioners to pass out pamphlets to passersby.
On April 18, practitioners held an event in downtown Perth and passed out web links to the documentary “Human Harvest.” Many Chinese people from Beijing, Sichuan, Hunan, and Heilongjiang provinces signed the petition and quit the Party.
One Chinese woman said, “My grandmother has practiced Falun Gong for 20 years. I've never seen her sick. Now I want to practice, too.”
She took a stack of flyers and copies of the book Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. “I will tell my friends about all this,” she said.
