(Minghui.org) I was in my 20s and the chief security officer in my village when Jiang Zemin and his associates launched the crackdown against Falun Gong in 1999.
To be promoted, I did not hesitate to commit whatever was asked of me by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). I lost my conscience and committed many sins.
I ignored the kindness of practitioners, cursed and beat them, even my mother. When I discovered her Falun Gong books, I destroyed them. Once, she fought with me. I pulled her hair and dragged her for a few hundred meters along the riverside.
Because there were many banners with the phrases “Falun Dafa Is Good” and “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance Is Good” hung on the walls in the village, I was criticized by the leaders of the township. In turn I followed their orders and monitored and arrested practitioners in the village. I once arrested a female practitioner who was about 60 years old and detained her. I hit and kicked her for hours and extorted 5,000 yuan from her.
Waking Up to the Facts
Under the influence of my mother and other practitioners, my father began to understand the facts about Falun Gong and the persecution. He acknowledged that the principles taught by the practice were good. I too gradually realized that I was wrong as practitioners never gave up on talking to me about the practice. I stopped doing bad deeds.
I wasted ten years by persecuting kind practitioners. I was dismissed from my job and ridiculed by people. I am heartbroken. My wife was diagnosed with a terminal illness and I realized that it was because of all the bad deeds I committed, and they haunted me through my wife. I am extremely regretful and scared for what I have done. Encouraged by my mother, my wife started to read Zhuan Falun, the main book of Falun Gong.
Poisoned by the wicked CCP, I committed many sins. I feel awful for the harm I did to practitioners.
Recently a practitioner gave me an anti-censorship software to surf the overseas websites free of interference. I found out that the CCP has been harvesting Falun Gong practitioners' organs, how popular Falun Gong is throughout the world, and how many Chinese people quit the CCP. The retributions received by Bo Xilai, Zhou Yongkang and others prompted me to quit the CCP.
Herewith, I solemnly declare that I quit the CCP. I feel deep regret for the harm I committed against Falun Dafa and its founder, whether verbally or in writing. All I have done is null and void. I believe that Falun Dafa is good, and will support Falun Dafa from now on and atone for the sins I committed.
