(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 11 cities or counties in 8 provinces. According to this report, 5 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, at least 9 were illegally arrested, the whereabouts of 3 is unknown, and 1 died.

1. [Jimo City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Xiuying and Ms. He Xiuxiang Sentenced to Three Years in Prison

Ms. Wang Xiuying and Ms. He Xiuxiang were tried at the Pudong Detention Center by the Jimo City Court on June 5, 2015. The court sentenced both practitioners to three years in prison without going through any court procedure.

2. [Huimin County, Shandong Province] Ms. Pan Zuzhen Sentenced to Three Years in Prison

Ms. Pan Zuzhen from Lizhuang Town, Huimin County was arrested in Gaoqing County, Zibo City for talking to people about Falun Gong on December 7, 2014. She was sentenced to three years in prison by the Gaoqing County Court on March 26, 2015 and taken to the Jinan Women's Prison in Shandong Province.

3. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Seventy-two Year Old Ms. Fu Yuxian Detained

Ms. Fu Yuxian, 72, was arrested by officers from the Mafangshan Police Station, Wuchang District on May 25, 2015. She is detained in the Wuhan No. 1 Detention Center.

4. [Maoming City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Wu Jinshui's Whereabouts Unknown

Mr. Wu Jinshui was arrested by uniformed and plainclothes officers from the Maoming City 610 Office, Domestic Security Division, and the Guandu Police Station on May 27, 2015. The police ransacked his home. His whereabouts are unknown.

5. [Bin County, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Yu Diancai Taken to Brainwashing Center

Sun Dahua, Wang Qing (both from the Ningyuan Town Police Station), and officers from the Bin County Domestic Security Division broke into Mr. Yu Diancai's home on the evening of June 5, 2015. They arrested Mr. Yu and took him to the Ningyuan Town Police Station and later transferred him to a brainwashing center.

6. [Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province] Ms. Zhang Xiaoyu Arrested

Ms. Zhang Xiaoyu was arrested in the early morning of June 5, 2015.

7. [Mishan City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Jiang Hongfu and Ms. Shen Aixin Arrested

Mr. Jiang Hongfu and Ms. Shen Aixin were arrested for distributing Falun Gong informational materials on the morning of June 6, 2015. Both practitioners were released the same day.

8. [Akto County, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region] Mr. Wang Fugui and Ms. Hu Julian Whereabouts Unknown

Mr. Wang Fugui and his wife Ms. Hu Julian from the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region were arrested in Akto County, Kizilsu autonomous prefecture by local police. Their whereabouts are unknown.

9. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Mr. Wang Jiufu Persecuted to Death

Mr. Wang Jiufu from Qianfoyuan Village, Wangguanying Town, Fengrun District, Tangshan City had been arrested and detained many times.

Mr. Wang was arrested by officers from the Huoshiying Police Station on June 23, 2012. He was detained for 15 days. He was held in the Fengrun Detention Center for transformation. He was not allowed to eat or drink. When he was very hungry and thirsty, he was given a bowl of water which appeared to contain unknown drugs. Shortly after he drank the water, he had diarrhea.

He returned home on July 8, 2012. His health deteriorated and he complained of severe abdominal pain and vomited. His food intake lessened until he could no longer eat. Mr. Wang died at home at 4 a.m. on May 25, 2015

10. [Zhongning County, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region] Mr. Hu Jiancai Detained

Mr. Hu Jiancai was arrested in late May 2015. He is held in the Qinghai Labor Camp.

11. [Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Wang Xinmin Arrested Again

Wang Xinmin was sentenced to 14 years in prison on October 22, 2003. He was held in the Mudanjiang Prison. He was released on medical parole in early 2014..

Mr. Wang was arrested and taken back to the prison again on June 4, 2015 although his health had not improved.
