(Minghui.org) Many Falun Gong practitioners are now exercising their legal right to sue former dictator Jiang Zemin for launching the persecution of Falun Gong and causing them great harm and tremendous suffering over the past 16 years.
The momentum of this new wave of lawsuits against the former Chinese dictator is steadily building as the number of complaints rise steadily.
Chinese postal workers were ordered not to mail Falun Gong practitioners' criminal complaints, but many of them disobeyed after understanding the facts. Some of these stories are reported below.
“I Will Take Care of Them One by One”
A young person working at a small post office chose to disobey his orders due to his sense of justice. He not only mailed out the complaints, but also suggested new strategies for getting these letters sent.
He suggested to a practitioner that he delete the sensitive word “Beijing” from his envelope in order to have the letter successfully sent.
He agreed with an old couple and said, “Whether it works or not, all bad people should be sued!”
This young person reminded an elderly practitioner that he forgot to press his fingerprints on the criminal complaint. He then took out the post office ink pad for this practitioner.
One day, there were many Falun Gong practitioners bringing in complaints.
He told them, “You can fill up the forms and leave the complaints here. You do not have to wait in line. I will take care of them for you one by one.”
Some practitioners checked the status online and confirmed that all their complaints were sent out. Indeed, this young fellow has kept his promise!
“I'll Take Care of Them for You”
To convince a postal employee to send out criminal complaints, a Falun Gong practitioner patiently read the content of the complaint to him.
After understanding the facts, this employee said, “Your complaint is justified. These complaints should be mailed. I'll take care of them for you.”
All of the criminal complaints at that post office were successfully sent out to Beijing.
Postal Worker Changes His Mind
Two Falun Gong practitioners were told by a post office employee that criminal complaints were not to be processed. This person even threatened to call 110 (note: emergency phone number in China).
One practitioner responded, “But we're not mailing anything harmful– they're only criminal complaints. So it should be illegal if you refuse to mail simple letters, and you might get into trouble yourself. Either way, Jiang Zemin has persecuted and killed numerous Falun Gong practitioners, and this has been going on for over ten years. It's a violation of our constitutional rights, and we have the legal standing to sue him. Nothing good will come out of calling 110 to report us.”
The two practitioners then told him the facts about the persecution.
The postal worker was finally silent and said, “I can process the mail. But I cannot guarantee that they will arrive in Beijing. You can leave your phone numbers, and I will let you know if the mailing failed.”
They did not receive any phone call. It was confirmed from the postal website that the complaints were received and signed for by the Supreme People's Court and Supreme People's Procuratorate.
