(Minghui.org) I immediately started to do all the things that Master asks of his practitioners after I was released from three years in a forced labor camp. I studied the Fa, sent righteous thoughts, and told people about Falun Gong. Even so, I felt that I was not up to par compared to other practitioners.
It was difficult to go on my own, and I finally located other practitioners in my city in 2012. With their encouragement, I was able to forge ahead with greater speed.
Taxi Business a Great Opportunity to Talk To People
After my release, I only told people I knew about Falun Gong and that it was important to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliates. The first year was hard, and I only helped several dozen people quit.
After I studied the Fa well, I went to public places and then to the countryside and elsewhere to tell people about Falun Gong. I convinced over 100 people to quit the CCP.
Then I started a small taxi business with an electric three-wheel vehicle on January 17, 2014. This way I could meet many more people and it was convenient to talk about Falun Gong.
A fellow practitioner and I took turns driving the taxi, and sometimes we convinced a dozen people to quit the CCP in a day. Recently I have convinced 300 to 400 people to quit each month.
Before I tell people about Falun Gong, I ask Master to strengthen me and I also send righteous thoughts to get rid of interference.
An 80-year-old woman had only 6 yuan, but it cost 20 yuan to get to her home. No taxi driver wanted to take her. I thought that this was a great opportunity to tell her about Falun Gong and that she should quit the CCP.
She agreed to quit the CCP. I told her to recite sincerely, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.”
“It is very hard to meet a good person like you these days. I appreciate your help,” she said when I dropped her off at her home.
“All Falun Gong practitioners would do the same. Our master, Mr. Li Hongzhi, asks us to think of others first. If you want to say thank you, you can thank him,” I said to her.
She stood there with tears in her eyes and repeatedly said thank you to Master Li.
Desire to Live and Practice Falun Gong
A young man got in my taxi and instantly thanked me for saving his life. He told me that the last time he'd taken my taxi, he had been planning to commit suicide. He was born into a very poor family and could not afford to marry. He tried to work in another town but did not earn much money.
He had lost hope and planned to drink poison after he saw his parents. I talked to him about Falun Gong. He read the informational materials I gave him, regained hope, and now he wanted to practice Falun Gong.
I have so many stories to tell. A man in his 30s listened carefully to me when I talked about Falun Gong. He said that what I told him sounded very reasonable. He was a Party member and asked me to help him quit the CCP.
He was a government employee and his wife was a police officer. They wanted to quit the CCP a long time ago. He accepted the informational Falun Gong materials when he got out of my taxi.
Government employees from the city, state and provincial levels have all ridden in my taxi, and all hear what I have to say about Falun Gong and the wave of people quitting the CCP. Many agree to quit the Party themselves.
Not everything goes smoothly. Some people refuse to listen and some threaten to report me to the police. One person said that he would drive my taxi to the police station. However, I convinced him that Falun Gong was good and he changed his mind.
Master said:
“What’s happening is the result of the overall Fa-rectification having progressed to this point. These changes were made possible by Dafa disciples’ tremendous contributions in saving sentient beings and clarifying the facts. Dafa disciples are having a huge impact on the state of human affairs here at the surface … Dafa disciples are no longer the only ones who know what Dafa is; the people of the world have begun to learn about Dafa anew.” (“Fa Teaching on World Falun Dafa Day”)
After reading what Master said, I knew this was Master’s encouragement to practitioners and also his grand compassion for practitioners and the people of the world.
