Master Saved My Life Again and Again

Sept. 29, 2015 |   By Yu Ming, a practitioner in China

(Minghui.org) I am over 70 years old, and started to practice Falun Dafa in June 1996. There have been many wonderful moments during my cultivation and I wish to share several of the most remarkable here. Occurrences such as these have made me realize how much Master has shouldered for us all these years.

On My Way to Obtain the Precious Book Zhuan Falun

My nephew was coming to visit me in 1996. He had written about a divine and spectacular book that I must read, and when he arrived, I asked him what it was.

“There is only one copy in my local area,” he replied. “And there are many people who are waiting to read it.”

He smiled and took out a copy of Zhuan Falun that he had carefully wrapped in paper. “Here it is, but you must finish reading it in two days. Then I need to take it back.” I agreed. He handled the book with great care and passed it to me with both hands.

As I read the book over the next two days, I experienced confusion, shock, joy and tears. I only wished that I had read it sooner. When my nephew returned, my first words to him were, “Where can I buy this book?”

“The closest place is a city near Wuhan,” he replied.

I took a bus to Wuhan the next day, clutching the address my nephew gave me. The bus was full, with little room to move.

The driver was speeding as we approached the city. I yelled, “Driver, slow down! The bus is about to crash!” The driver didn't respond. I yelled again, and he still didn't respond. I thought that might not be able to hear me because there were too many people, so I yelled again as loud as I could.

He then shouted, “Are you crazy?”

As soon as he said that, “Bang!” The bus collided with a large truck and careened off the road, rolling down an embankment into a field six feet below. The bus landed on its roof, and the passengers were tossed about and piled on top of each other. I managed to get out, but driver's seat was flattened. He was dead. It was a horrific scene. However, I was not hurt at all.

At the time, I simply thought that I was very lucky. From studying the Fa, I later had the understanding that the crash was interference from the old forces in other dimensions who were trying to stop me from obtaining the Fa and cultivating. Master saved my life.

Eliminating Karma

Some years before this, in May 1987, I had severe stomach pain. I took Chinese medicine for about 20 days until the pain disappeared. Two months after I started Falun Dafa, in August 1996, the pain returned.

I had the understanding that this was not an illness, but that Master was cleansing my body. I tried to endure it so that the karma could be eliminated, but the pain was severe. Each time this occurred, I was in a cold sweat, all my muscles cramped up and my stomach felt like it was being twisted. I didn't give up, and was determined not to take any medicine.

After a week, I started to have diarrhea. On the worst day, I had to go to the toilet 28 times. I said to myself, “I am a practitioner. Master is taking care of me. Master is helping me endure the karma.” As soon as the pain lessened, I started to study the Fa and watch Master's lectures on DVD.

After three days of having diarrhea my friends and relatives visited me. They all wanted me to go to the hospital, but I insisted on not going. I explained to them that I was repaying my karma by enduring the pain. My wife thought I was risking my life and said that I was stupid. Yet, my heart was firm because I believe in Master and Dafa.

Fifty-five days after the illness karma had begun, I was sitting on a stool, pressing my hands against my stomach to relieve the pain. I suddenly felt as if my body was expanding, feeling it grow to the size of a huge mountain. Then, as if a large boulder broke off, the pain in my stomach immediately disappeared. I was very happy and shouted out, “I'm good now! Thank you Master!”

Falling from the Seventh FloorI hurried home after work to pick up materials for Fa-study one day in 1998. I lived on the fourth floor. However, when I arrived at my door, I realized that I didn't have my key. The materials were needed that night for our group Fa-study.

I went up to the roof of the building, which was above the seventh floor. I wanted to climb down from the roof to my balcony, so I could get in. I called my younger brother and sister and asked them to come to the roof and help me.

It was raining lightly. We tied a rope around my hand, my brother held the other end, and lowered me down to the fourth floor. However, when I reached there, I was almost six feet away from my balcony, but unable to swing myself over to it.

My brother then tried to pull me back up, but couldn't. Instead, I was pulling him closer to the edge of the building. I weighed 187 pounds, so my hand was in pain from being tied to the rope, which was supporting my entire weight. My brother couldn't pull me up any further and had been pulled onto a canopy at the edge of the building.

I remained calm and thought, I would die if I fell from the seventh floor, but the canopy could not hold two people's weight. If the canopy collapsed, then both my brother and I would die. I could not let my brother die because of me. At that critical moment, I asked Master for help, “Master, if I'm really supposed to die, then I have nothing to say, but I want to cultivate to consummation and return home with you.”

I let go of any fear of death and firmly said to my brother, “Let go of the rope.” My brother had already used all his strength. He let go of the rope, and I fell. My sister saw me fall and thought that I had died.

At that moment, I saw a rectangular, foam-like substance come straight at me and wrap around me. Then a giant appeared and stuck his huge hands under my arms from behind. I floated like a leaf and drifted toward my balcony on the fourth floor. I landed gently on both feet. I answered my sister, “I'm not dead. I'm standing here.”

She cried and called out, “Which Bodhisattva saved you? Where are you standing?”

“Master rescued me!” I replied. “Let's all thank Master!”

Later, I looked down from the roof, and my feet shook with fear! Master had again saved my life.
