Righteous Thoughts Is the Key to Saving Falun Gong Books

Sept. 30, 2015 |   By a practitioner from Weifang in Shandong Province, China

(Minghui.org) Since July 1999, almost all Falun Gong practitioners in China have been affected by the persecution. They were not allowed to study the Fa, or do the Falun Gong exercises. They were forced to hand over Falun Gong books and materials, and their Master's portraits were confiscated. Practitioners have been and still are harassed, threatened or taken to brainwashing centers. The persecutors have used many torture methods in the persecution of practitioners.

How to protect Falun Gong books is a very important issue for all practitioners. At the beginning of the persecution, I hid my books in a place that I believed to be the safest.

Falun Gong books and Master's portraits are routinely confiscated by police. I was neither afraid nor did I panic when police came to my house and ransacked it. I had only one thought, “A human does not measure up to a god.” The police left empty handed.

I held the same thought throughout several police searches. Therefore, they never found anything.

During an illegal detention at a labor camp, the guards forced practitioners to hand over their Falun Gong books. They promised a reduction of several days at the labor camp sentence for each book turned in.

I thought, “I will keep my Falun Gong book, no matter if I live or die.” With that thought, all my Falun Gong books were never found. They were still in the place I hid them after three years of forced labor.

I did not actually know anything about “righteous thoughts” at the time, but I had a general understanding from studying the Fa and from Master’s strengthening me.
