Police Officers Have to Speak Positive about Falun Gong to Enter Her Home

Sept. 30, 2015 |   By a Falun Dafa practitioner in China

(Minghui.org) Ms. Luo is in her eighties, but she looks much younger. After all, she and her family have been practicing Falun Dafa for over 20 years.

They have endured a lot of suffering due to the unjust persecution against Falun Gong in China. Ms. Luo recently filed a lawsuit against the former Chinese leader Jiang Zemin for the persecution of herself and her family.

Then one day, about a dozen people, including police officers, staff members of the city’s 610 Office, and cadres from different government organizations, banged on the door of Ms. Luo's courtyard. At that time she was printing informational materials about Falun Gong at home. She went to the front door and asked them what they needed. An officer responded that the municipal leaders were concerned about her and sent them to come to ask her something.

Ms. Luo said, “I will let you in as long as you follow my rules, as this is my home.” A cadre who looked like the head of the group agreed without thinking. Some neighbors had gathered around to see what was happening.

Ms. Luo then spoke more loudly to the group of visitors while the neighbors witnessed. “You must say 'Falun Dafa is good' and 'Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,'” she said. “Or no one is allowed into my home.”

The group was shocked. Instead of telling Ms. Luo what to do—as they were supposed to, they were told by her what to do. In the end, they agreed to repeat the phrases in order to be allowed into her house. She opened the front door to let one person in at a time after he said the phrases.

Once the group was all in the house, they were shocked again to see that the house was full of Falun Gong materials.

One said, “Wow! So many anti-government materials!”

But Ms. Luo corrected him kindly. “That's not right. These are truth-clarification materials for saving people, not for being against the government.”

Another officer started to collect the materials to take away. Ms. Luo stopped him and told him that his supporting the persecution would bring sin and misfortune to him, and even to his family.

At that moment, the head of the group said, “We are here to confirm that you sent the court some defaming materials about Jiang...”

Ms. Luo interrupted him. “I have not defamed anyone. I filed a lawsuit based on facts,” she said. “Defaming materials are those like the staged 'self-immolation' on Tiananmen Square and the so-called 'attack' to the central compound at Zhongnanhai.”

“I am going to write down your names and badge numbers if you are an officer,” Ms. Luo then announced. “I will report your name to the open list of persecutors on the Minghui website if any of you participate in persecuting me.”

The others turned to the head, and he nodded. Thus, they all wrote down their names on a notepad that Ms. Luo handed them. She also talked to each of them about the true situation of Falun Gong and the persecution. They all nodded.

Before they left, Ms. Luo wanted to give them each a copy of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. However, while they did not take any, they all said that they had read it before. She then said, “Okay. But you have to take some Falun Gong materials—that's my rule as well.” In the end, they each took a Falun Gong DVD with them.

Onward Despite Hardship

Ms. Luo has experienced several tragedies in her life. The first tragedy was the death of the youngest of her four children, at the age of four. The second tragedy was her husband's infidelity, which resulted in his abandoning her and their four children. The feelings of sadness, desperation, and hatred gnawed at her for over 30 years.

The children grew up, and her oldest daughter became an aircraft designer. Then another tragedy occurred to the family—that daughter had a stroke at a young age and became paralyzed. Ms. Luo was in despair. She only saw another 30 years of suffering, part of which was due to the round-the-clock personal care she gave to her daughter.

Ms. Luo was fortunate to be introduced to Falun Gong, and she started practicing in late 1994. The feelings of suffering caused by life's adversities left her soon after. She encouraged her daughter to learn the Fa by putting a recorder at her bedside to play Master's lectures. On the seventh day, her daughter, who had been paralyzed in bed for several years, was able to get out of bed and walk. Within a month, she returned to work.

Having witnessed the miraculous changes in their older sister, the other children also began practicing Falun Gong.

Ms. Luo and her family have been harassed and persecuted during the on-going persecution due to their steadfast belief in Falun Gong. Her oldest daughter was tortured severely and imprisoned for nine years, but they have been diligent in their practice, and continuously work to clarify the truth about the practice and support imprisoned fellow practitioners.

Filing a lawsuit against Jiang Zemin is only one of the most recent actions they have taken in this regard.
