More Police Avoid Persecuting Falun Gong

Sept. 5, 2015 |   By a practitioner from Northern China

(Minghui.org) As a result of Falun Gong practitioners' persistent efforts to raise awareness since the persecution began, a growing number of police officers have come to understand the facts and stopped persecuting practitioners.

“We No longer Arrest Practitioners”

Mr. Yu Ming, a young practitioner visited one of his college friends, a police officer. After Mr. Yu talked to him about Falun Gong and encouraged his friend to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) his friend agreed to quit.

“Nowadays we no longer arrest Falun Gong practitioners,” he said.

“No Time for That”

Auntie Gui, an elderly practitioner had Falun Gong informational materials at home in August 2015. Badly influenced by the CCP's hate propaganda, her son decided to report her to the police.

“Sorry, we have no time for that,” the police officer told him.

Refusing to Detain a Practitioner

When distributing flyers with information about Falun Gong in a market on August 30, 2015, Ms. Zhen was arrested by three security officers. They escorted her to a local police station in a car.

However, the police asked them why they arrested her and told them to let her go.

A security officer said that they had confiscated a bag full of Falun Gong flyers from the practitioner. The officer responded that they had plenty of that at the police station and that they did not need more. Ms. Zhen got out of the car and went back to the market.

People at the market were surprised to see her. They wondered how she came back so fast. After all, she was just arrested. She told them that the police did not want to get involved and let her go. Wanting help more people understand the true situation behind the nationwide persecution of Falun Gong, she returned to the market to distribute informational materials.
