(Minghui.org) As practitioners continue to talk to people about Falun Dafa and the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP's) persecution, people have gradually changed their attitude towards Dafa.
A CCP Party secretary of a county in Shandong Province visited a village on July 12, 2015.
It is a common practice in China that local officials arrange visits to selected families and tell them how they have to respond to questions by the visiting officials. To avoid preset answers, the county's Party secretary stopped at random villagers' homes.
He selected the home of a Falun Dafa practitioner who was cooking a pie for lunch. The village Party secretary introduced the county Party secretary to her.
She calmly and politely invited the visitors to sit down, then offered them pie. While eating, the county Party Secretary started chatting with her.
The secretary appeared to be an easygoing person. Thus, the practitioner thought, “What a rare chance for him to visit my home. I should tell him about Falun Dafa and let him know that Dafa is really good.”
“I want to tell you my story,” she said, “Please don't get angry with me.”
“No, I won't. Please go ahead.”
“I am 62 this year. Although I am very healthy now, I was in bad shape 15 years ago. My entire body was swollen. I could not eat or do heavy labor. Medicine didn't help. People laughed at me and my sisters-in-law cursed me. I thought maybe it would be better if I just died.
“Then a neighbor told me that I should practice Falun Dafa, because it has healing effects. It also changes your disposition and you will no longer get angry.
“And it worked! After I did the exercises, I vomited black stuff a few times. I felt better and better after each vomit and my belly shrank. Eventually, the swelling was gone. Now, I'm healthy, thanks to Falun Dafa.”
The village Party secretary was very nervous. Practicing Falun Dafa, or even praising Falun Dafa, was not allowed by the CCP. He tried to stop her several times.
Surprisingly, the county Party secretary did not get mad. He just said, “It's a personal belief.”
A retired public prosecutor from the Xianning Municipal Procuratorate, Hubei Province, wrote:
“I understand that the persecution of Falun Dafa was launched by Jiang Zemin. Jiang is the real criminal who undermined the law. He made all of China misunderstand Master Li, the founder of Falun Dafa, and also mistreat tens of millions of Falun Dafa practitioners.
“Master Li, I apologize to you!”
