Master Protects Practitioners in All Situations

Jan. 29, 2016 |   By a Falun Dafa practitioner in Zhangjiakou City, China

(Minghui.org) I began to practice Falun Dafa in 2005. My sister-in-law, who began to practice just one year earlier, introduced me to Dafa.

We started a Fa-study group in 2006, which later grew to eight people. We studied the Fa in my sister-in-law’s home at least three times a week. Besides reading Zhuan Falun, we also read Master’s other Fa lectures.

We helped each other to find our attachments to improve ourselves. As a result, we progressed quickly in our cultivation, laying a solid foundation for our efforts to let people know about Dafa and the persecution.

My sister-in-law, some other practitioners and I went out as a group to tell people about Dafa and the persecution. We mainly distributed informational materials about Dafa in the urban areas, then we talked to people face-to-face about Dafa, the persecution and how to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations.

The Power of Dafa Displayed to a Fugitive

My sister-in-law is a taxi driver. A young man took her taxi in August 2007. On the way he wanted to change to a far away destination. My sister-in-law explained that she could not go that far, but he demanded that she do as he said.

The man told her to stop the taxi when they reached some corn fields. He then called his buddies, gave them his location, and asked them to come and get him.

His buddies didn't show up, so the man told my sister-in-law to drive further, and had her stop at a place much further away. He demanded that she give him her money and took her car key.

At this point, the car horn suddenly started honking. The man got scared and tried to drive away, but the engine wouldn't start. The car continued to honk. He returned the car key and told her to drive, but the car still didn't start and continued to honk.

“Please don’t report me,” the man begged my sister-in-law. “I am a fugitive. I will help you repair the car. Please drive me back. I will not take anything from you.”

On the way back, my sister-in-law told him that she was a Falun Dafa practitioner, and explained about the beauty of Dafa and how it is practiced in many countries worldwide. She also told him that Dafa teaches people to be good and asks its practitioners to follow the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.

“I wondered why you are such a good person,” he said. “So, it's because you are a Falun Dafa practitioner.”

My sister-in-law said that she was not frightened and held no hatred in her heart toward him. She felt pity for him and was grateful for Master’s protection.

When she returned home, she told her husband about the incident. He repeated over and over again that Falun Dafa is good.

He has been very supportive of her practicing Dafa since then, and they have maintained a harmonious family life.

People in Remote Mountainous Areas Learn About Dafa

After we had distributed Dafa informational materials to almost every corner in our area, practitioners in our Fa-study group proposed that we go to remote mountainous areas, since the practitioners there couldn't get ahold of the latest materials.

Master said:

“This is especially so for the Dafa disciples in Mainland China: each must come out and clarify the truth, bringing it to every field and valley, mountain and hill, not omitting a single area where there are people.” (“Let Go of Human Attachments and Save the World's People”)

A young female practitioner drove us to these remote areas. We loaded the trunk with all kinds of materials including calendars with content about Dafa, Shen Yun DVDs, CDs, information about the persecution, and the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party.

On arrival at a county fair, people approached us and asked for the materials. They thanked us and some of them invited us to rest at their homes.

When we arrived at a construction site, someone shouted “Falun Dafa practitioners have arrived,” and the workers warmly accepted our materials.

Since we added new information about Falun Dafa and the persecution to the booklets, most people wanted to read them. However, not all went without unpleasant disruptions. Some people verbally abused us and threatened to report us to the authorities.

Escaping Arrest

We drove to a place in the mountains called Black Valley, which comprised of four villages. A total of about 100 families lived there, and almost all the villagers were working out in the fields when we arrived. We separated so we could go and talk to them and give them the materials. Because cell phones couldn't be used in these remote areas, we would not meet up again until afternoon.

Someone reported us to the authorities and the police tried to arrest us. We asked for Master’s help and sent forth righteous thoughts. Our driver remained very calm, stepped on the accelerator, and helped us leave the area safely.

Another time, we went to a distant mountainous area and stopped in a village at the bottom of a hill. Practitioners distributed materials door-to-door. Some of the people accepted the materials and thanked us, some refused, and some verbally abused us.

We then drove to a different village. At the entrance of the village we met a woman and I handed her a calendar. When she saw that the calendar had Dafa content, she refused to accept it. I told her that the calendar had information that is good for her to know, but she still refused to take it.

Our driver said, “You go ahead into the village. I want to explain more to the woman, and hopefully she will be of a different attitude in her heart.” However, the woman started to call the police and wanted them to come and arrest us. Another practitioner quickly called us back to the car and we left the village. Master protected us again.
